I love the word “independent “. As a former detective Michael, I greatly appreciate you speaking up about this. The problem is not just Coster however, it is also executive members of police that have become radicalised as activists for the left. Former police commissioner, Mike Bush kicked the lefts agenda off in earnest, and Coster ran hard towards the try line when he was passed the ball. Getting rid of Coster would be a good start but other executive members both sworn and nonsworn need to be exited forthwith once he is.

Them trying to not pay or punch me in the taxis (ex champion boxer so I surprised them a bit) them making a mess and not taking responsibility for it in the cafe, and them not paying for work done, until I made them, with the building work - (I make everyone pay in advance now, saves the hassles). Actually, during the Adern government one of the Maori Party MPs (I think it was) complained that Police 10-7 was showing too many Maori offenders and making the race look bad. On the basis of what has "been disclosed by Michael", I am not disputing the data, but what interests me, is are we, here in New Zealand, starting to see "a lean toward Maori, by the NZ Police, as being a separate entity on a Legal platform". The reason I pose this question, is that in England "a 2 tier Policing issue has arisen and brought to the attention of the UK Public" (and anyone who surfs YT, will have seen the multitude of posted videos on this) - whereby the Police there are "more" sympathetic to the Muslim Community ignoring their illegal actions, yet the rest of the population gets "lots of Police attention" - this action predates recent riots. Are we, now going to see the same actions, implemented and led by Commissioner Coster? Keep in mind the Police "are supposedly undertaking Hate Speech Training", something "denied" by Mark Mitchell, yet our Police have staff who are in constant contact with those "who report hate speech violations (yes here in NZ)"- in England & Scotland- they do have that Law, that is strongly enforced, by the Police.

Worked for police for 15 years, seen few commissioners, Costner is the most left political one we had. Things went downhill since he arrived, like moral, efficiency, reputation.

Why do photos of the Police Commissioner look like they would be more at home in an alphabet pin up calendar? He doesn't appear to have/exude an air of authority for his position. If he has a low opinion of those who are employed under him, why is he still there and better yet, why has/was nothing done beforehand, to rectify the issue he thinks, is there?

I thought Coster was OK because he recalled 1981 (when a Red Squad thug broke 2 of my ribs for protesting against racism in Sth Africa, while I was running away from him) and thus didn't IMMEDIATELY break up the Beehive process. But then ... I don't know what happened to Coster, but for some reason he turned into what he now seems to be. He needs to resign. And if he won't resign, he needs to be fired.

How can someone be retained by the coalition who is prepared to act in a treasonous way towards his workforce, but wait, is Luxon a blue version of the last red leader who quit suddenly?????? Well put Mr Laws.

The police association needs to ask its members for a vote of confidence in the commissioner. My pick is there would be no confidence vote, and the minister would need to take note.

Intersectionality is just a religion, it should have no place within government. Getting rid of Coster would require a petition on the grounds that the police report is inherently politically biased because it uses intersectionality.

Coster appears to be an inept commissioner with an agenda to protect the Maori dimension.

Contemporary mind virus has shown up again. Wearing (on ceremonial occasions) a uniform. Is there a Minister who has the sense to get rid of this woke warrior?

Same reason they canned Police 10-7 to many Maori being targeted and portrayed on tv as being Criminals .

Goodness reminds me of Police planting evidence in the Arthur Allan Thomas case to get an outcome. A bit of independence would be nice.

Lucky the crimes are not living in Singapore. Oh by the way Singapore is the safest place in the world isn't it. And the cleanest place. And loads of clever people and companies.

I am pretty sure Coster was a Jacinda appointment, she got rid of the previous Police commissioner as soon as she got into office - since then, the incidence of criminal offences has sky rocketed - a simple solution might be to remove Coster and replace him with a new commissioner

He'll be gone as of May '25. Hopefully the new appointee will not be a woke muppet.
