I notice how Alastor's voice is much clearer than Vox through this medium. I know his accent is made for the radio, but it's still amazing to see that in action!

It’s because the transatlantic accent was intended to be easier to pick up on the radio, as it used to not be able to absorb certain frequencies
@fk57_4 ай бұрын
@@Radiogirl1931 Maybe it could be that it's because the radio filter could have been decreased for the song? Viv said that they lower the intensity for some songs so it sounds clearer in the videos.

whoa. i thought it wouldn't be from a real vintage radio at first [ just using digital filters ] especially that this radio looks the EXACT SAME one used for Alastor's flashback about rising to power when it said he broadcasts his victim's screams during episode 5 at the timestamp 12:24. the shape, the design of the speakers [ ? ]- exact. the only difference is that the depiction in the show had only one dial, but otherwise pretty accurate. this was very cool to watch and listen to! a wonderful experience. love the antler detail.

Thank you! The radio took 6 months to restore. I bought it off ebay in bad shape in 2019 after the pilot aired cause this one looked the most Alastor coded ino and funnily enough they based the shows radio off a Philco 70.
