Of course, after I made the "newly-colonized" comment, I read in the description that we're still in orbit making scans. Whoops! 😂 I'm just a sucker for outposts in general. I have been using these for sleep for the past couple days. I have really gotten the best sleep when I was off at work and coming home it was always hard to fall back asleep. Then I put this on for fun one night and got some of the best sleep I had since coming back from work. Absolutely love these, hope you keep making more. Also, love the lore you type up in the descriptions.

This is a lot better for falling asleep to, the lights are dim, and the whole atmosphere looks very cozy. The bed has enough room for two people, and I can see sleep being possible. However, the "radio chatter" kills the mood sadly, as it's tough to sleep with the sound of people talking over the radio in the background.

Retired deck chief here. I was aboard the Promy on the last leg of that jaunt. My 5th quarter tour was up with a slag freighter running outlier trades. The old binary routes, so I was well past ready to come home. Prometheus happened into our sector for their pre warps so I just got lucky with a crew tube. Anyway, it was swell sailing from Tanhauser Gate all the way to the minor mid boundary at Proxima B. That’s when it started. An errant fermion sync. The flare zeroed our muon echo. Fried the ballast. The warps on her were pushing twin flux, not bad even for a bonjovi class cruiser. Made no difference. Went into full harmonic lockout. Now at a 20 LY jump interruption, it is still possible to clear a time reconciliation. Fortunately a jump scalper was in the next sector and assisted our back up drives to full. But the sleep station in starboard 5 triggered cryostasis thaw prematurely. The entire lot. During the critical solar sequence. Yep. So it ended up a level 3 incident with near a third of the ship bumped up. Though no fatals. Could have been worse but most were first crews in their twenties. Were. That warp tear stole a dime and change from thirty thousand spacers. All passengers were compensated in the settlement by Initiative Group. Big payouts I heard. But how can you put a price tag on an “add 15”? Sprung their clocks fifteen years forward. The price we pay for hyperspace, I guess. The ever pesky pot holes along warp trails of the galactic jet sett. Rare as they may be. Anyway. I’m set atop a dune terra on SIgmund421, Prox Alpha overlooking an ocean twice the size of old earth.
