@@robertkeddie No, there was one in Denmark too - about 50 years ago. And I am still considering building one - it is a super floater, and would most likely be even better with an Eppler 211 airfoil.

@@leifvejby8023 Actually, I built another model with the same proportions but a more modern aerofoil. It was prone to tip stalling and warping of the outer wing panels - I reckon Mr Headley designed the model with thicker wing tips, but still flat bottomed. That might explain why the wing tips bent downwards at speed.

@@robertkeddie Yes, a bit of wash out. Eppler 211 should do it, it is 11% thick - it might need a fully sheeted center panel. And will have some wash out - or I might have to massage the airfoil to work at the lower Re number att the tip. Don't know, right now I am messing about in the garden. And in my dinghy.
