Thank you. I've tried resetting factory settings several times. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. This worked great. Just remember 'screaming guy" button...LOL

Glad that worked for you. For me, my OnStar light is now red and my screen is on, frozen on the last thing Google Maps displayed before it froze. The button does nothing. Turning the car off does nothing. Has less than 500 miles on it (2022 Spark) so will be calling dealer.

When I turned on the onstar and cancelled the call. It fixed it. But yesterday, the problem came back. I tried the onstar and does nothing. And now I am having issues with my lock/unlock system. I am suspecting that the real problem is the BCM.

Try it.... also try disconnecting car battery for 1 min and restoring it back. If not you need to replace your BCM.

I have a 2021 chevy trailblazer, mine was frozen on the map. I just turned the car off 1min, then It worked. If they doesn't work, reset settings and then turn off the car for 1 min.

Disconnect your battery for about 5 min. Then re install it. This happened to my 2022 Camaro. It was still new back when it happened. It never did it since.

Were you ever able to get it to work? It didn’t work for me either. I also tried disconnecting my battery and still nothing. I can use the knobs to navigate but the touchscreen is a no go
