Very well done as always! Such a delight to my ears and so thought provoking. I personally have never cared for the Ironborn. Whenever that word came up my first thought was always "much ado about nothing" as their current plots and plans never seem to accomplish anything but failure for them and misery for others. I dare say if we saw a person walk up to a toddler, shove him down and take his toy we would be infuriated yet that's pretty much what the Ironborn do and call it "paying the iron price" but who's really paying a price in this scenario? At any rate, I'm very glad to get some background and insight into this culture. At least now i feel there is some depth to them. I was struck with the similarities between Balon and Tywin. Their momentous will, their hubris and their choosing to ignore the blatantly obvious really stood out to me as being very much the same. I'm not sure i would have ever made that connection if not for this episode. Thank you again for all the hard work and time you put into these episodes! Very much appreciated!

Radio Westeros awesome! I’m sure you guys have had multiple reasons to discuss him before in other episodes, I’m just fascinated w/ Aerys II because he was kind of responsible for creating the modern dangerous & unstable Westeros we see our characters in. Plus I’m just obsessed with all things Targaryen.
