Just started learning guitar a month ago. This is a nice tune and one of the first songs I wanted to learn to play. Looks like as long as you get the barre chord down, the riff sounds great whether strumming, or picking at individual strings! Will work on the dreaded barre chord tonight...thanks.

@pmviva10 жыл бұрын
Doesn't the song use suspended 4th chords on the first half of the second bar of every chord except for Cm? I mean 1 bar of G, 1/2 bar of Gsus4, 1/2 bar of G, then the same with B (1 bar of B, 1/2 bar of Bsus4, 1/2 bar of B),and the same with C (1 bar of C, 1/2 bar of Csus4, 1/2 bar of C) then 2 bars of Cm

I am an old lady, with acoustic guitars. I am ready to go electric. Where can I learn about what I should buy? I don't want to spend too much to start, just a few hundred. I want to play songs like this. Thanks for any advice. Having fun in my retirement. I really want to crank it up a notch now. BTW, I like your lessons, Marty. I am a subscriber. You break things down well and make it understandable. Thanks for all you do for us.
@ghettogloomzrecords94378 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest getting maybe getting a used fender telecaster or a used fender stratocastor. Look up a local shop in your area. You can find some real gems there.
@petmomful22608 жыл бұрын
Okay, thanks for the advice. I have borrowed a fender strat from my daughter in law for the time being and I am experimenting with it a bit. There is also a pawn shop near me with guitars, and I will go check them out.
@bbsamazon8 жыл бұрын
If you haven't visited a pawn shop yet, just a word (or three) of caution/advice. These guys have a lot of 'tude. Don't let them bully you - don't take any guff off them. Whatever price they quote, tell them it's too high (because it probably is). If they cop a 'tude, turn around and act like you're going to walk out. They'll change their tune pretty quick. If they don't, walk out and find another shop. :^)
@reimondsantiago72346 жыл бұрын
you could go to pawnshops , i got a 20 dollar electric guitar
@gdebrango6 жыл бұрын
Most pawn shops sell crap. Go to a local shop. You dont want a crap guitar you have to fight to play, There are alot of affordable options at the store.
