If, for me, there was ever a song to encapsulate the sense of being ill-suited for this world, feeling pathetically less-than, and being angry about it.. this song did it well, even if it is a little too on the nose. This is a beautiful interpretation, and while I don’t have the musical knowledge to properly understand why, it seems more emotionally nuanced and subtle than the original. A matured man’s Creep, if you will. It knows everybody feels at least a little weird.
