He actually looks pretty small compared to most Neil Youngs.
@cantcheatkarma34933 жыл бұрын
Neil Young's can range from as to little as 3ft 7inches, to a whopping 8ft 3inches! Though the average is around 5ft 11inches. NB There was once a case in 1978 of a midget that claimed to be a Neil Young but was deemed to be just shy of the dimensions to be fully considered a full Youngun.

I'm laughing at the fact adults are on here commenting immature things such as "the crowd shouldn't sing." To update you lost people, the point of a concert is to enjoy yourself and have fun. Standing there quiet wouldn't quite fulfill that, now would it?
@alvin_row7 жыл бұрын
Lolo Pie different people "enjoy themselves and have fun" in different ways. Those people do it by just listening to the artist, and people shouting out of tune ruins it for them.

G is a high key to sing Tell Me Why in. Even high-pitched Neil Young does it in E, at least on the original. Yorke's a great vocalist. Edit: I think Young does it in F, playing in G on a guitar tuned down a whole step therefore sounding in F, like McCartney on the original of Yesterday.
@hazyjane17943 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Neil tunes down a whole step, so it's in F. Vocally, it's still really high .

Most pompous : try Muse, Queen, Pink Floyd, Mogwai, Rachmaninov, Wagner... Overrated : This is the laziest insult ever. What does that even mean ? Who's rating them over what ? A lot of people with a strong interest in music like them. What's wrong with that ? Green Day : Come on. You don't like Radiohead, we got it.

I'm a big Neil young fan, and this is first track from his classic After the Goldrush album, not a bad version by Thom,I had no idea Thom Yorke was a Neil Young fan. I've got all of Neil's '70s albums,his best period in my opinion, plus some Buffalo Springfield,and a couple of Crosby, Stills,Nash& Young, and Radiohead I've Pablo Honey, The Bends and OK Computer, after Computer I bailed out on Radiohead, They were going a bit far for my liking,they started sounding like CAN, and a bit free form jazz, what happened to Creep, Fake plastic trees,High and Dry, Street Spirit, Karma Police,No Surprises, they used to sound good.
@pimposki62323 жыл бұрын
a lot of the songs are really good post ok computer; i would suggest listening to the in rainbows album; it's like the more laid back ok computer songs (no surprises, subterranean homesick alien, etc) but warmer and less cold and alienating. the album hail to the thief is similar in that regard; some tracks might be a bit too heavy for your tastes (2+2=5 comes to mind), and there's some more experimental stuff there, but it has a lot of great "pop" songs too.
