And the ones I understand now...I just love them. Personally to me there is no better and deeper music than radiohead and thom's solo project. And I think he really is a musical genius...he's not overrated. he's in fact underrated.

Idk about that. They do explore music in ways that are very creative and shocking. But the. Theres albums such as vespertine hell I even think graduation by kanyes production can be better than some of radioheads and I’m not really a rap fan I have a bias for rock tbh
@Tarotprincess12 жыл бұрын
on that discussion down here...it's just the thing about radiohead, that you need to spend some time listening to it, to fully understand and be able to appreciate it properly. It's like a modern painting - you have to approach it and give it some thought to understand why it is so brilliant. some people need more time to do that than others who just feel it. To me it's simple: there are no bad or mediocre radiohead songs - just some that I don't understand yet, but will when I get a bit wiser.

Well, although clearly Thom Yorke is on par and in every way an equal with Neil Young in terms of both the gifted and adroitly arranged and articulated song and strangeness factor, within both composition and delivery, and as both have generally and madly vexing and inspiring talent and influence expressed within both music and culture at large, even though these two might have and most likely will have, within a kind universe, just a relaxed and collaborative meeting of equals, this time and within this particular encounter, clearly, as the younger, Yorke had obviously approached his legendary mentor, Young with an overwhelming sense of awe,I imagine Neil Young might have just had his own mind blown and has probably already written a song about that particularly sensitive experience, which naturally required and,or demanded, shyness in the moment. Two of the very most profound of us. Hope they do meet again soon. Brilliant to have been there!~ Next time...please press RECORD!~

We'll, i happen to like Kneel Jung quite a lot and used to like Radiohead before they got a little too bloated, grandiose and over emotive. I just think "Utter Genius" is an excessive title for these fellows. Neil is borderline genius.

I had a hard time getting into Radiohead. Ok computer was a hit with all my friends and it didn't speak to me. I kept listening to it and I bet it took me 25 listens to finally have it resonate with me. I don't think I would have given it so many chances if I didn't appreciate their earlier works. I think they make great albums and really challenge themselves as artists when it comes to crafting songs. I think they share this pursuit of the muse with Neil young who is the master. It's all about bring a conduit and none if it about ego. That might not be genius but it's passion.
