Thanks! I use an sm7b to record my voice since it hardly picks up anything not directly in front of it. For the guitar, I use an AT4040. Yes you will always hear your singing on the guitar mic, but positioning and angling helps tremendously. Also, when mixing, don't try to compensate. Mix your guitar mic as if it was only for guitar. Do not compensate for the little bit of voice.
