As always Bill, AWESOME! I've been a fixed wing pilot for years in the Spektrum arena and am transitioning all by aircraft to Elrs/Boxer. Loving the learning curve and your videos are just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. Hi Peter, you can add a picture to your model settings in the colour screen radios such as the RadioMaster TX16s but not the boxer.

Hi bro. Amazing review Can you guide how i can bind flysky and frysky receivers with boxer? Ive TX16S and its pretty straightforward..is it same in boxer too where we select receiver type and bind?

It is the same process but may look different because of the colour screen of the TX16s. If you have any problems let me know.

Hi Bill. I have been trying to set up a basic model following your video. I have been having all sorts of issues and I have just discovered on page 3 of every model I am setting up and in all of the models that were in the radio when I bought it, I have a '' HELI Set Up'' page. In your video, you do not have this. Also, in the input page the Aileron and Elevator are correct but I can't name Throttle and Rudder. Those channels just have 100 with the little stick sign next to them. I think there is something deep within the radio that needs to be changed for me to be able to create a basic model for my whoop. Have you any clues as to what I should look at please?

Hi Steve, in the Model SETUP menu click Enabled Features to show HELI SETUP change from Global to off. The Heli window will no longer appear. You should not change anything in the INPUTS just leave as default make your adjustments in Mixes. I will look at producing a video on global settings.

Thank you. What are the modes buttons for? Also, with the ELRS version, is it possible to change the Aux 1 Switch to another switch that is more reachable for arming and disarming?

The mode switch is used to set up the flight modes Angle, Horizon & Acro. You can assign any switch you want on your radio for arming but you are required with ExpressLRS to use Aux 1 for arming, channel 5.

Are you using ExpressLRS if so use channel 5 for arming. If for a drone have you checked in Betaflight the Armed channel is set to AUX1. Try moving switch and see if the arming activates.

Hi Bill, I'm having a problem with a new boxer. I'm unable to bind to any 4 ch FS2A receivers I've tried. I updated to the latest version of EdgeTx and the SD card update. I know these receivers work fine as they bind to the Flysky FS-i6 I had been using previously. I can see the internal red light flashing when in binding mode along with the blue flashing light on the receiver. They just simply won't connect. Any help would be great as I assumed this would be a couple minute process and so far I've spend about 3 hours on it.

Firstly which version of the MPM do you have 4 in 1 or CC2500? FlySky is not supported by the CC2500

@@the-happy-RC-flyer The 4 in 1 is the internal module. We have 2 new boxers and I just tested the 2nd one and it's having the same problem. It beeps and flashes showing its trying to bind. I re-tested with the Flysky FS-i6 and it binds straight away, so something is with the boxers I just have no idea. I have the setup for the model mode: multi, type: FS2A_RX, receiver set to 1. Neither of the 2 boxers want to bind.

I think you are using the incorrect protocol. Please try FISky2A PPM, SBUS. I do not have one of the receivers to test for you.

Hay Bill. Great video as usual. I'm trying to setup the timer reset on the SF push button switch. Mine looks exactly like you how yours looks in the special functions menu. SF down reset tmr 1 box is checked. Under that SF down play track timres. I'm using the Amber22 sounds pack. Any ideas?

Blake, can you tell me what is not happening. Timer not resetting or sound not playing. Are you seeing the SF1 activate on pressing the button?

Hi Bill, I got it sorted out. It turns out the file was either corrupt or it was converted using the wrong settings. The file was 16kb, I reuploaded it to the audio converter using the correct options and the kb sized changed from 16 to 65. I uploaded it to the SD card and it works just fine now.. @@the-happy-RC-flyer

Please double check your settings first. Is your receiver bound to your TX, check in Betaflight.

It sounds like you have set up the special function twice, delete one of them and you should be ok.

how do I get batt voltage from drone on radio telemetry screen? I dont fly FPV atm, saving for goggles, but at same time, I need to know how much voltage I have so I dont drop out of the sky and kill all my lipos :D If I told you how many hours of random setup videos to find this information you be shocked, and I am still looking

@@the-happy-RC-flyer yup, ty, alot of the videos are old, what got me was all the videos involved with betaflight didnt have the telemetry slider in battery and power tab, I was able to get to work after that. You need to bind your receiver to the radio. Check the instructions that came with your receiver. Video will follow later.
