If you buy the white ones. You can take a magic marker in the color of your choice and color the LEDs before you install them. Then they will illuminate in the color applied.

@@JohnRSippy You have to resolder them with care. That will take time. It might be brighter with different current consumption due to the different forward voltage drop.

I’d think it would be really easy to design and print a replacement light ring with transparent red pla filament, then use the white led rings to backlight them. I recently ordered the base TX16S and I’m planning to do all the upgrades over time. But the led ring upgrade is cheap and easy, and I think I’ll give the 3d printed idea a shot!

if i take apart for accessories such as these leds or like In my case a main board replacement. why did a void message appear when I took off the sticker at the bottom for my main board replacement? thanks

Is these an issue with the AG01 gimbals? I heard you lose thow due to sitting too low?

I bought the URUAV blue and pink kits when they first came out, and soldering on tiny light strip pads was required. i was like, um, hmm, no. In the end, out of both kits, I just used nothing but the longer screws to mount my CNC lowering plates in, because the ones that come with the CNC kit aren't long enough. So it was good that I spent $20 ont he lighting kits, but in the end, never installed them. This one with the lighting ring upgrade and a plug looks a lot more plug and play. Even so, it's a pain to take those gimbals in and out via the corner screws. If you just want lowering plates, this is a cheaper way to go than buying the whole CNC kit or #D printing lowering plates. If I had to do it again, I'd do it this way as these are lighter than adding more metal. Lowering plates are a must have for me. The metal plates are slightly thicker than the URUAV clear acrylic ones. Be careful screwing down on the clear acrylic, because I've read from someone they cracked theirs. I think I'd still leave the light part of the kit off, because I fly the sim in the dark, and I don't need to be looking down at two eye socket orb blowing rings of light, unless I added and on/off switch inline with them.

Radio master has a DIY switch you can buy. I also saw someone had the lights activated and power down from the six position arrow switch’s at the top. See link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqfFf4Gbf5aZjZY.

Both outer pins are GND, you can use this for the button. So they can share one plug.

With white, you could change the color with filter or color pens. It will work with Eachine TX16S either.
