Happy New Year! Has RadioMaster just set a new "Next Level" standard with these gimbals? Is this the future for RC transmitters? Make sure to check out my site at tmacfpv.com/ for more fun, useful FPV info, build and gear recommendations!

Finally, someone that knows that CNC is procedure and not a feature. CNC machined! All depends on your background i guess.

this is a very perfect video treat, in my opinion, with a very detailed explanation and also provides a lot of knowledge, this is very helpful for beginners like me, thank you very much, keep making educational videos

Thank you. I am lucky enough to have a friend that just gave me his tx16s. Its pretty mint condition minus just the sc+sd switch broke so just need to replace that but its great to learn how modular it is in regards to parts replacement and upgrades. Im definitely upgrading to v4.0 halls . I dont have the funds for the one you got but this video still educated me biggggg time. Thank you soooooo much. I am a complete noob to this. I just got into thia yesterday and was blessed with what i think is the best controller to start me off. Im looking to start with drone simulators and learning this controller then ill eventually build the drone itself. But this gives me time to save while i learn to pilot. Mahalo for the video🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Help please! We updated a friends Radiomaster Tx16s with the Edgetx firmware so the touchscreen now works.... but now we can't find the screen to calibrate the sticks and pots... any help would be great; the usual calibration screen seems to be missing!!!

So to clarify, these gimbals are only travel adjustable in the throttle, up and down? What about left to right?
@TMacFPV3 жыл бұрын
Both gimbals adjustable up and down, not travel adjustable left and right. Spring tension adjustable through adjustment screws on back of transmitter
@donjohnson74283 жыл бұрын
Tmac, thanks for taking time to reply. Understood, that's what I was gathering from the video. I was hoping they were travel limited left to right too

Hi TMac, Happy New Year to you and your family! . Great video as usual. I got mine about three weeks ago and I love them. My only question is, if I do see any jittering on one of the channels how do you fix them? Thanks, Sam
@TMacFPV3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Sam, Happy New Year to you as well! Is this hypothetical or do you have jitter on one of the channels? If not hypothetical, have you calibrated the gimbals, is the jitter significant enough to affect your flying? Perhaps increase deadband on that channel?
@samavella88313 жыл бұрын
@@TMacFPV Hi TMac, It is and it isn’t hypothetical. I have calibrated the gimbals a couple of times. The jitter is ever so small that it does not effect the value of the channel as it occurs. From the little flying I’ve done with these new gimbals, it doesn’t seem to be affecting my flying, but as a average and casual flyer I’m not good at noticing these little things like the pros are.

Thank you for the video! I wonder, does it also have kind of a “step” in the middle position like the default ones have? Or does it move completely smooth?
@TMacFPV3 жыл бұрын
that slight "step at mid throttle" you're referring to I believe is due to how the tension bar is bent/creased downward toward the rocker wheel it rubs against (and perhaps a "bump" in the rocker wheel?). On one of my gimbals (the "throttle" gimbal, although I believe both are identical except for how the adjustment screws are setup on each) I felt this slight "step." On the other gimbal (even when I adjusted it to "non-centering" to imitate the throttle gimbal), I did not have this slight "step" at all. After tinkering/researching this, I was able to get rid of the slight "step" on the "throttle" gimbal by removing the adjustment bar (only 3 screws) and slightly straightening out the bend/crease I mentioned above so it wasn't as sharp of an angle downward toward the rocker wheel. Of course, I tried the adjustment screws first however adjusting them did not remove the "step." After I straightened out the tension bar bend/crease a bit, no more "step." Hope this helps!

Happy New Year 🥳! For me even on the shortest position the stick height is slightly to high with the original gimbals. Yes short thumbs 👍😅. So limiting stick travel will definitely help, but any chance the AG01 gimbals are shorter? Thank you.
@TMacFPV3 жыл бұрын
Happy New year Square One! The shaft the stick ends screw onto for both the original Hall sensor gimbals and the AG01 CNC milled Hall sensor gimbals is the same height. However, as mentioned at this time mark point in the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGnXppido8x4iMU , if you install the AG01 gimbals with the original gimbal bezel still in place, the AG01 gimbals will be recessed more in the transmitter (i.e. sit lower in the transmitter) which will make the stick height lower for you. As you mentioned, limiting stick travel throw should help too!👍You can also achieve the same thing (lowering the gimbals) through the use of 3D printed "gimbal spacers" such as these www.thingiverse.com/thing:4493751 that accomplish the same thing as using the original bezels
@SquareOneFPV3 жыл бұрын
@@TMacFPV Oh, I missed that part because I was saving the installation part of the video for when they arrive 😅. I'm going to print a set of spacers today! Thank you Tmac.
