RadioShack Pro651 Programming Full Software Walkthrough!!!

I bought a 651 for Christmas, 2015. Programmed it easily with this software.....5 1/2 years later, I tried to reprogram it, and it only took 3 hours! But, it works now, and I wish I would have watched this video first. And to think I was the radio coordinator for my department the last 2 years before I retired...Ha ha!

Do I need the software to program or could I punch in the numbers with Out it

My scanner has always worked fine until recently I started getting a lot of loud static noises. I turned the squelch down but no luck. Do I need to have it reprogrammed? All radio shacks are closed by me. I am in N.J.

It's most likely an issue with the antenna or the BNC connectors unless something broke on the circuit board. I would try resetting it and reprogramming it.

do i have to get the cable and use the software in order to input channel numbers??

No but it is nearly impossible and insanely time consuming to manually program a digital scanner.

is it possible for a phone call for help I have a Pro-651 and am trying to set it up for Skagit County, WA and don't seem to get it have watched your video 1/2 a dozen time and am still stuck..Please help me !

You can call me after 230 pm I'm not having any issues but trying to figure out how to program this scanner I've program regular scanners with different banks but never messed with a digital scanner so that's where I need help programming digital frequency and analog frequencies. or u can program it for me but would still like to know so I don't have to ask you all the time
