Rappman explaining that George Floyd inspired him to make something to uplift black people is lovely! It really shows that we are all ONE across the diaspora. I know sometimes we can get caught up in the diaspora wars but as a girl from South East, Washington DC. The capital of the USA I can relate to a few of the characters. Our stories are not that much different but our futures can be if we stick together and uplift one another ❤

Tazer’s character arc was my absolute favourite! His relationship with his grand mother, his mother who go taken, the tower boys, Krazy, meeting new people. I feel like he easily had the most complex character by far! 10/10 character!!!!

Brilliant series. They had their own spin, brilliant actors and superbly written. Ghetts was fantastic in his role wish they kept him he was like Sylar from Heroes. Took inspiration from MisFits but the original for all of this was HEROES.

Supacell was absolutely phenomenal, Rapman is an amazing storyteller, Tosin Cole was incredible as Michael. The acting, story, cinematography, music, action, everything was top notch. A real fresh and unique take on the superhero genre, loved how the show put a spotlight on sickle cell disease. Really hope we get a season 2 soon! 👏👏👏👏

I love this so much! An amazing show that doesn’t over sensationalize any aspect of these characters. There isn’t anything that is done in poor taste! Gang life, street violence,drug dealing, drug use, father son dynamic, illness. Nothing! Everything is done so well, it’s relatable, realistic, humanistic and powerful!
