Either "It's a tune, man" or "I don't know what it's about" 😄. That shows who the real songwriter is ... and that's not a dig at Liam. He was/is by far the better frontman than Noel and that was the magic combination of Oasis. It was Noel's songs and Liam's swag that made them big.

I do agree with him about us not getting over the pandemic yet, something has changed about the feeling of the world now , I used to go to a pub on a Friday before the pandemic and it was full with music , now its empty and has no atmosphere. Music is the only constant , and I do prefer this album of Noels , it's got more of the Oasis B sides feeling to some of the songs. Noel has said he often goes out his way to not write oasis like tracks so while I prefer Noels singing in oasis these days , I've never been into high flying birds, but this album is more my cup of tea. I could listen to Noel speak all day tbh, he makes a story sound interesting.

I don't think Noel understands that people are still interacting with others on the internet. In fact, for many, they are interacting with more people than you might ever have a chance in person. Interaction is still happening, it's just evolving to a new format. Less in person, more digital. More recently, it's in virtual reality too. This will change society, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. It's just different. The key point is that interaction is still happening. I love that I can move to another state and still keep in touch with my friends, not just through voice, but through video. I can see them and talk to them daily. We can jump into VR together and interact if we wanted. That's great! It's freeing.
@lucasoheyze4597 Жыл бұрын
That's not real interaction though.
@Cthulhu013 Жыл бұрын
@@lucasoheyze4597 Sure it is. Why wouldn't it be? And define 'real interaction'. How does it differ from 'fake interaction'? It's two people interacting, just in a different environment through a different method. That is as real as any other method. It's more difficult interaction, as you're missing detailed body language, but as the tech is refined and introduces that sort of detail, it will eventually be indistinguishable. Every new technology faces the same sort of complaints. When the telephone was introduced, people had similar concerns. Is telephone interaction real interaction or fake interaction?

Oasis and The Cure? Maybe they're not like super similar maybe but I don't feel like they're really polar opposites either. They're both guitar bands and capable of writing melodic catchy songs, I know they don't share too much of the fanbase together and looking at the big picture The Cure in dig'd deeper of the darker and more obscure side of theird, especially considering their less-popular more-indie albums whereas Oasis always wished to move the big crowd but to me they're both huge bands.

Since the divorce Noel has come round more to a reunion , but everytime he says to the camera, speaking to Liam about Liam getting in touch, for whatever reason Liam is now the one who has bottled it. I guess that's liams personality, Noel doesn't want it and Liam is on twitter calling for a reunion, now Noel would do it , Liam just will not phone him. As Noel said , if Noel says yes , then Liam has to be in the same room as him.

Please don’t refer to Californians as Americans. That also goes for New Yorkers. If you’re talking about NYC. The rest of us from the wider STATE of NY are nothing like. NYCers. The State of NY is as large as the entire country of England with many cities and towns. Americans, real Americans, are NOT the people in LA and NYC. I’m a Western NYer (the state, near Niagara Falls nowhere near NYC!) living in UK. Most of the English will always tell you that London does NOT represent England or the English. It takes the same amount of time to drive from my home in Western NY to NYC as it takes to drive from Newcastle upon Tyne to London! NY is NOT NYC. NYers from NYC and Californians (sorry in their case it really is the whole state) are NOT representative of Americans. Rich British people only go to NYC, LA, and Las Vegas. Other British people basically go to NYC, Vegas, and Florida. They don’t know what real america is like anymore than someone who has only been to London. I spent all of lockdown in England and, believe me, they were just as hysterical about masks. Went up to Edinburgh during Covid and the Scots were WORSE!
@Cthulhu013 Жыл бұрын
The mask thing wasn't hysterical, it was just common sense. The interesting thing about the masks was that it spotlighted the people who truly care about you, from the pretenders who don't.
