Eben Byers was an American sportsman and industrialist who is infamous for taking over 1000 doses of 'Radithor' - water laced with highly radioactive radium, which was touted as a miracle cure in the early 20th century. This short documentary discusses how Radithor came to be sold as a medicine, and the gruesome fate that Eben Byers suffered after becoming one of its most avid users.
