Dear Melissa & Jeremy, My words are inadequate in expressing my admiration to you and family for making your journey available to the public. You as a family have made my approaching life journey’s end so enjoyable. I am 82 and fighting several types of blood cancer. Don’t feel sad for me because my faith in My Savior have assured my destination. You have so eased the journey through your videos. Your neighbors are the luckiest people in the world! Dear Leon, Here is my perspective as we prepare to meet Jesus face to face: I liken womb to earth and earth to heaven. Just as I am unable to recall how it felt in the womb, I believe it will also be so in heaven--unable to recall all the pain and suffering on earth and look forward to unlimited joy and happiness in our forever home. As a Catholic, I will be praying for you and the grace of a happy birth into eternal life!! 💖 As said by a favorite priest of mine: "Once we are born, we never cease to exist; we just can't see you! Wrapping you in Jesus' loving care! Amen, Leon!

Your shower is beautiful! Love your tile choices. My mother passed recently and we sold her home, the buyer wanted a radon test so we split the cost with them. The results came back at 17 ,we were shocked! The buyer had the system installed to vent the radon out. My parents lived there 38 years and never thought of anything like radon could be in there home. My father died of lung cancer 2 yrs ago. I highly recommend everyone have this test done. Thankfully you are having the test done now and not years later, I pray for 4.0 or less test results. The system isn't cheap to have installed but very necessary.

We purchased this house 16 yrs ago while I was being treated for cancer so radon was a big concern. We had a radon test done and the result was 7 so we had the owners take care of of getting the radon system activated. We live in western Maryland and the radon is slightly elevated in this part of the state. Most people aren't even aware of this.

Jeremy and Melissa I love your channel and all you do. The building of your home and how you are raising your children. Home schooling is one of the best ways in these times as some of the things they are instilling in the kids now, kind of brain washing into there way of thinking is so evil and wrong. I never understood why non-smokers were dying from lung cancer. Then I became a home inspector and studied up on radon, and it started making sense. People are living in houses that may be radon traps, without having any idea. This is why I try to convince every one of my clients to get their house/prospective houses tested.

the most I ever tested was 149 pci. Home built in 2003 and tested in 2012. Then I tested another home 5 years ago brand new and just a little high in the basement, but the kitchen was almost 50 pci. It had a radon mitigation system in it. Why was the kitchen high, they had natural gas for the stove supply and the gas in the area had a 58-day period where a few of the half-life's would need to wait before the radon level in the gas lowered to below 6 pci's. I have done a few school districts following the EPA standards for schools, and there were a few surprises.

@@kevinmurphy2545 like most testing, for relators, never found out. Now a few years ago from doing Phase I ESAs in the county I had the Dem. and Rep. party heads call me about this property that had void spaces developing and the owner would fill the holes with gravel. The problem, the property was used a few owners ago as the township landfill. The only reason I knew was the reports I got and looking at the PA DEP known sites for other projects in that area.

The shower looks great. The weather looks so cold, but the sunset and snow on the mountain makes it all worth it. Hope the radon test come out in the correct range Have a great weekend. See ya next week.

Don’t throw that sock away, Melissa. As a homeschooling/homesteading family time to learn/teach the kids how to “darn” socks by using a light bulb 💡 That’s how my Grandma taught me as a teenager 🤗

Melissa...do what I do when Mark's socks get a hole. When sorting laundry, ANY sock with ANY hole, goes in the garbage. Then when he runs low on socks, I send him to Wally World and have him buy more. I used to sew them up but then they'd rip again after 1 or 2 more wearings. The tile looks fantastic!! Say hi to the children for me. God Bless all of you! 💜🙏

Word of advice, you should put up a line Barrier for your Loft, That way your kids won't fall down.also there is a ladder called a Fakro metal scissor ladder. They come in different sizes...

Yahoo😊 Very well done 🥳 Thinking like a grandfather...the sleep in the loft is cool. While taking care of the grandkids in Okinawa, they had a loft with access hole and folding stairs. If the younger kids go up there to play, I would add a cover for the access hole and a collapsible safety fence for the open side. It can fold down so it is not visible to the ground floor and then lifts up and locks in place. May be spring or? assisted. Could be used for generation to come. Please😔

The shower looks amazing and most guys would have thrown in the towel and waited for a warmer day but you two just pushed through. It looks amazing!!! I've been telling my hubby that we need to take our jet tub out and build a new shower with a seat in it. As we're aging that deep tub edge will be hard to navigate!
