Depending on when your ebike was manufactured you may receive a front wheel with a bolt-on axle. All models come with a quick release skewer to secure the fork protector plate during shipping, IF you have a bolt-on axle this will not be required for assembly. This video will walk you through how to identify what type of axle you have if you are unsure and how to properly install your front wheel. After 400-some miles, I can confirm. This bike is a winner. I'll be devastated if anything happens to it. (and if anyone tries to steal it, I can use the 8lb battery to beat them to death lol)

Great question! Our bikes come about 85% completed and a toolkit is provided with the bike to help make the assembly process as smooth as possible. We are also partnered with Velofix, a mobile bike shop that can assist you in assembling your bike!

The bike is nice to ride on. But I have been regretting my purchase for a while now. I know not much about bikes and thought it would just be assembly the bike and go. But so far in two weeks I had to, adjust the rear derailleur because my bike didn't want to change gear correctly from the beginning, I had to adjust the brake caliber because there was ton of rubbing and noises coming from the front wheel and the Abus ring lock is loud because of the vibrations from the bike. I've been spending my time learning about how to do this stuff instead of actually riding the bike. Now I'm trying to fix the wobble tires on both the front and back wheel. The tires aren't actually round! It really feels like I recieved a second-hand bike or a returned one. My first customer service agent was quick to respond on email, but then was transferred to someone else and it has been almost a week without a reply. I'd search somewhere else for a bike. And if you buy one, I'd highly recommend changing the bad stock tires.

@@RadPowerElectricBikes As of yesterday March 2022, as a Professional bike mechanic was putting this bike together, he stated the sidewall stated a maximum of 60 Psi. But, his recommendation for a more comfortable ride was 30 - 35 Psi in his opinion, so anywhere within this lower range and 60 Psi is up to the owner apparently.

Got my bike in February. Defective out of the box. It's now May. Still waiting for my warranty parts to arrive. $2300 is alot of money for a bike you can't get parts for. Come on Rad!

There 'are' other more comprehensive video's on brake alignment as well as bedding the brakes once the bike is completely safe to ride. I believe the Rad video is strictly putting the bike together. I didn't buy a Rad myself, but bought this one for my wife, and I was able to figure out myself on how to adjust the brakes sufficiently. It 'can' depend on if they are mechanical or hydraulic as well.

I got my bike two weeks ago and the Pedal Assistance and throttle don’t work. I sent them 2 emails and submitted a request. I keep calling to the number they have but no one picks up calls. No answers. There is no way I can contact someone who will help me. Its so frustrating. I went to shop in town they don’t know what to do and don’t want to touch the bike. Don’t recommend this brand since customer service for such an online brand is so bad.

I cancelled my order after 3+ months of waiting(Originally ordered February 20/22). I ordered A step threw 3 on sale in Canada so instead Im saving $700 Can from the original order.Just found out today Rad has No Service not even mobile service in All of Western Canada Except Vancouver BC. Absolutely teriable customer service. The ONLY reason Im sticking with Rad is the cost savings. My other choice is Pedego Interceptor Platinum step threw for $5500k Can.

I ordered this bike February 20/2022 its know May 20/2022 3 months later.Its Fully payed for on my VISA card and I have yet too receive this bike. I was hoping to have it by know so the wife can try it to see if she likes it,If she does I was going to order another one. If I knew we would have too wait over 3 months and longer we would have just went to a local bike shop.We are Very disappointed with Rad.
