@@robertmartin6800 Although many places, especially in the USA, definitely overdo it with bringing up sexuality to children who are not even close to puberty, the majority of what is taught is indeed true and important to be shown to post-pubescent people who could be struggling with sexuality and gender roles that very traditional societies do not accept which can be very harmful to people's psychosocial states.

@@urmumwota4185 Our children are less mentally healthy than at any other point in our history, I don't see any basis for the notion that _not_ enforcing traditional gender roles, or exposing them to sexually explicit content when they're still children, are boons to children's mental health, it seems more likely that the opposite is the case. That may be what they self report, but that's certainly not what the data are telling us. The children being exposed to such content, and who have nontraditional gender and sexual roles enforced upon them are far and away the least mentally healthy.

I believe telling kids of 5 years old what they have between their legs at that age is called grooming. I happen to have seen some of the material and that is extremelly concerning. I'm glad that many states have taken action to prevent this nonsense. Up until one is 12 years of age, reproduction etc should not enter the curriculum. It is for the parents then to decide what they want to do, that's their child after all.

They also have a higher rate of couples marrying early. We call these families. Liberal states have a much higher teen pregnancy rate. They just kill their children before they are brought to term. We call that abortion, or simply murder. So sex education does nothing to curtail teenage pregnancy, it just teaches brainwashed girls how to deal with their "problem".

Many teachers, etc , are advocating for acceptance and understanding, a few are pushing it to potentially harmful, or at least unhelpfully provocative degrees because they are caught up in social justice ideology, and a few others are probably hateful bigots. Optimal school environments are ones where teachers and administrators communicate with the parents and communities they live and work in, so that consensus can be factored in as much as possible in the handling of these unfortunately sensitive topics. Whatever the case, the best path forward is mutual respect and love.

@Ajit Adonis Manilal yea there’s generally a societal risk for being a degenerate, as there should be. Homosexuality is not nature, it’s nurtured by others and accepted by you. You make the choice, just like giving in to drugs and anger are choices. Admittedly it’s hard to turn away from those addictive behaviors, but there are people who recognize that and want to help victims lead a better life.
