Free video is not without rewards taking in account many views and getting rewards. But generally, there is no free cheese in the world unless family members are giving it. Whatever can be sold, will not be told. I think the greatest benefit from this is to see that it is possible to recover from CFS. I hope this is a possibility at least. Thanks

I first met Jason when I was training as a Lightning Process Practitioner. He recovered with The Lightning Process and had trained as a Practitioner the year before me and was mentoring new students in London, including me. I wish him well now he is using the techniques he learned in his LP training to practice independently. Six years later I am still an LP Practitioner and am so happy that we are able to help people get well with Long Covid now.

This sounds like cognitive behavioural therapy, which I can see would work. You get so caught up in feeling ill, the hopeless of it that you are in a constant state of stress. You feel so lonely as everyone else gets on with their lives, which exacerbates everything. So I can see that to pull yourself out of the negativity and the stressed state of your body recovery could happen. Thanks for the ray of hope.

I did the Lightening Process 20 years ago and while I was there I did feel happier. The basic message is that you are doing it to yourself and need to get out of that mindset. This is all well and good and there was a couple of miraculous recoveries while I was there. But it is very victim-shaming, if you’re not getting better it’s because you are too attached to being an invalid ☹ I think I have done nearly everything on offer and each new piece of information might fit a small piece of the puzzle of why we are so sick and tired. I have Hashimotos and Lupus and with the best will in the world , I will still have them. Finding out which foods I am allergic to was helpful, I did the AIP for six months. I am now free of chronic mouth ulcers which were the absolute bane of my life. I can do stuff most days, but I also rest most days and have lots of days when I only rest. I’m saving up for a fecal transplant as a last resort.

It doesn’t work for everyone because it’s more of a “top down” approach. Perhaps you need a “bottom up” approach like somatic experiencing or EMDR. Top down therapy is like CBT or talk therapy (using your “thinking brain”) while bottom up therapies focus more on the body.

@@rachd4794 Does the Programm " only" have top down exercises?
@rachd4794
@rachd4794 Жыл бұрын
@@kirstensuhr7094 I’ve only tried DNRS so I can’t speak for the other programs. The bulk of what you’re doing is telling your brain it’s okay in response to stress. It’s an hour practice everyday where you basically have a script and you’re repeating mantras. There are other little exercises that perhaps may be a little bottom up, but I would say it’s mostly using your “thinking brain”. But top down therapies are necessary and helpful, but for some people, more is needed. I personally don’t think the programs are worth the money, but some people like the guidance and the community it brings. It just depends on what your brain responds to.

I think it's physical because in most cases, me included, it all started with a viral infection, but brain retraining can start the healing process which is impossible if you stay in your fight or flight. I guess meditation can be more effective than traditional medicine.

The same here. Besises CFS, i discovered i have also something called like HIBERNATION syndrome. Like a Russian family who was hibernating during winter, when at those times for some people winter was a time where food was not to be founs. I found in internet a story about a Russian family who had genetically a hibernation gene, if you could say that this way. In my case i finally understand this. It starts in mid september, until may. In this period i feel so stressed when i have to wake up or someone wakes me up. I have to get up, but it was from baby age, up until now. It felt horrible. It is strange, but when i have this period starts, i feel it in my arm muscles. It feels like someone injects me with something in my veins and my muscles. Sticky/heavy/warm. It sounds crazy i know... My CFS started in the summer months when i had that summer 3 ticks on my belly ( red rashes 2x from 2 different ticks at that moment ). My mom removed it with toilet paper. Very quick. I guess this besties vomited their content in my body only by feeling panicking! No antibiotics or doctor or desinfecting. That same period i had also Pfeiffer disease. After i had Pfeiffer ( during and after being cured more or less, i slept all day long ). From there on...my life ended in a way at 12 years old. I am 51 years old now. Hell... But yes, waking up is so much stress for my body, heart, brain. Racing heart and feeling horrible and my heart does not easy come down. Exhausting. Among a plethora of other symptoms and so on. I hope we all will find a way to cure us all.

I wonder if this can help people with long-term depression, ADD and Asperger’s and just a lot of other stuff going on on top of being medicated but also being poorly not medicated and needing caffeine all their lives asthma so obviously getting used to asthma medication and steroids and I don’t know that maybe family paths you know these things are all such a mix and teach each other and it’s different for everyone But my brother seem to have a sort of MCS type thing going on and I just struggle with a lot of similar issues and I think since Covid I’ve dropped out a lot and I’m not taking medication out anyways it’s confusing to think that I could even run an hour 6 miles like I did a year ago would be amazing, but I’m not saying I was always good like you guys. I’ve had the depression and I’ve had Days so sometimes within the day sometimes couple of months sometimes so it’s different. It has to do with the meds pooping out or caffeine pooping out or level of stress in life but you know diversity whole twist is not just your cognitive aspect and you think it’s a literal aspects of being high functioning in the world that maybe you’re not time to prime for anyways I am so curious if this can work because lately I just been chasing, everything to try to get my life back

It’s so funny of course our mind influences our body think of Bio feedback loops in the brain like there is all sorts of influence going on people influence each other the heart muscles each cell influences the other cell so although we have this these dualistic and individualistic ways of looking at thingsthey’re also very interconnected. They’re just two different ways of looking at things and we shouldn’t forgo one for the other. There may be even another way of looking at things that we haven’t really looked at yet.

I think the effect your thoughts have on your body are physical. For example, I had ptsd and every night before sleep I would have a terrifying thought which would cause me to have a massive adrenaline spike, which in turn left me wide awake with a thumping heart.... This caused me to lose sleep, making me fatigued with body aches and irritable the next day.... I had also made my chronic pain from injury much worse by thinking and telling others 'my hip is killing me' etc. It became much easier to tolerate and then less painful when I told myself 'this is uncomfortable and annoying'. It can be a chicken/egg situation, but your thoughts and emotions produce chemicals/hormones which affect your body and vice versa.

Ring Training it also sounds so dumb it almost sounds like just like cognitive behavioral therapy and like you know, soft challenging, you know, exposure to fear, triggers, and things like that and coupling feelings of peace or alternative thoughts in order to decouple from the fear of the pain response it sounds like that but the funny thing is that’s admitting to this being like a hysterical conversion disease and I don’t know obviously people operate them bio feedback loops, you know and there’s things that we reinforce and it sounds like Greene train is largely this, but I would hope that most people like this aren’t exclusivelythe category of themselves and the bodies trying to get them to slow down you know

Amazing sharing Therezie! My wife is also same as you were with added sound and light sensitivity, can’t almost look at screens. How did you manage to do brain retraining in that state and how fast you saw results from that starting point of yours (rock bottom)?

@@ruigalhoz4188 yeah I had to wear that thing for sleeping on my eyes 24/7 my sensitivity for this whole world including my own existence was horrible. 🙈 I just did my best, everyday, small steps move mountains (my favorite quote from Jay). I was so desperate that I just did it, couldnt look at screen so I just listened and I had to listened with big breaks. maaan when I think about it I have no idea how I managed. But there are so many people bedbound with all the kinds of sensitivities and they all manage somehow the beginning. No matter you pace its about the intention and determination to do everyday something even a smallest bit, would love to help you more but thats it. I think I was out of this state after a month. But some improvements came quickly after a week or so.

There is a small percentage of people with a condition called aphantasia who can't visualize. We literally see only black when we try to visualize and most of us are born with it. All is not lost though when it comes to brain training. If you can't visualize, you can still think about, imagine or feel during brain training sessions. I overcame anxiety and now I'm working on overcoming long COVID without literal visualization.

I listened to the video and it was so promising, so I booked a free consultation with Jason and hoped he can help. A lot of reminders came daily before day - its ok. Also, he arrived with a lot of late, it also can happen. But he was unfriendly, and after telling my story he said he thinks I am not ready (maybe financially he means?) and without empathy and any explanation, he cut the conversation and said goodbye. Sent some book recommendations without any further steps (general books that everyone knows in these topics) but he should know that with this condition it could not be a solution to read for hours. It was an embarrassing and unpleasant situation - especially when someone really feels that this is the last hope and goes there with high expectations after a video like this. Hey, we are human beings with feelings and emotions and we should be respectful with others, not just chasing money. Thank you for reading.

That experience must have been so hurtful. I hope you find your way to healing. It's hard for those unable to take time off from work, or who don't have the money for programs and apps, or have other difficult circumstances. I'm learning a lot just from youtube videos and I'm using that knoweldge to design a healing program for myself. Maybe you can do that too. 🙏🏻

I just don’t understand how this is apply to people. Are you supposed to positively visualize and have dreams but their dreams will never work out or bad things happen because of their depression and their ADD and bipolar and ASD stuff like I got really good visualizing positive psychology manifesting you know dreams about my business I would go to schools. Is it all in mind and how do you make it work like I just feel like I could do all this and build myself back up and get them to graduate program or you know, travel or start my business then the bad stuff happens when it comes down to handling it. I don’t know what I’m saying. I’m not saying it all but it’s not all in the mind or like or choose to have like Asperger‘s disease, you know what I mean I don’t think all of us choose things we may choose to be less stressed and all that, but I don’t even know for example for me to find him while I do better on drugs and antidepressants, but those those issues soI don’t know if I was the normal person who had chronic fatigue would be

I was interested in some similar programs after watching interviews like this, but every time there is no price ,and no matter how good an impression the person has left, I just feel like I can't trust the program 🫤 At least some basic options with prices would be helpful and then if you want more coaching that can be open for later discussion... They are dealing with people who probably haven't been able to work for quite some time, after all. However, I really enjoyed this interview 😊

What should someone with aphantasia do? About 4% of the population has aphantasia (no mind's eye). I am one of them. I cannot visualize anything...complete darkness. I cannot bring up sounds or smells in my mind, either. I can remember things and describe them but no actual visuals or sounds can come up with a memory and therefore it's more difficult to experience the emotions that would accompany it. It's like my mind describes a scene in a list format and it doesn't do much for me honestly.

Raelan, I second Warren Thorp’s appreciation that you take so much time to put out these videos. I have a question on another note. I see and hear that you are recovered. And then I also hear you list all the many things you are doing: work, exercise, social, and these videos which must take massive amounts of your time including interviewing people to be on your channel ahead of the video interview. It sounds like you are going gung ho all over again. Do you not worry about overdoing it again? You are a lovely, lovely woman. You glow. And you help so many people; no wonder you are glowing.

@ICanThrive
@ICanThrive Жыл бұрын
Hello Alex, the essence of how my program works for PEM is 2 things: 1. We deeply relax the nervous system which given a little time naturally restores your energy and stamina, 2. I teach you how to become much more self compassionate rather than being a type A over achiever and pushing yourself too hard. Both of these are essential to fully resolve PEM.
