I connected with this song, instantly. After 3.5 years and a home together, when I found out I was having my son, he gave me a choice. Never thought at 24 with my entire future infront of me, I'd be left 4 moths pregnant if I didn't make the choice he told me to make. I chose my son. Now he's going to be 3. Being a single mom, its tough, of course. Wouldn't change it for the world. I love him more than anything. Jesus, him, and coffee are the reasons I wake up in morning. God bless hard choices. We have to be strong enough to make them, and the lord will honor and provide. Keep your faith, and keep your grit. We got this!

This song definitely speaks to me as well. When I turned 20 my mom told me in a letter that when she got pregnant with me there was pressure put upon her to “get rid of” me. My parents had not wanted children, and my mom’s mother didn’t really want kids either and was encouraging of her to not have them either. Thus, there was much consideration about abortion. My mom made an appointment with a pregnancy care centre to try and receive guidance and help with what she should do. Ultimately she decided to keep me after her counsel with the care centre, and it’s why I’m such a huge advocate for pregnancy care centres, and what started my passion for being pro-life.

Thank you for this song. My story is a little different, i was struggling with addiction in an abusive relationship. I was the first one in my entire family ever to have a baby before marriage. I knew i was having a girl already and still had people telling me to get an abortion. 9 years later i have the most beautiful daughter. It wasn’t easy but it was right. I now have a wonderful man who raises her like his own, along with out boy and one on the way now. To anybody struggling in this circumstance just know you are strong, you can get through this. If all else fails turn to God. He is always there.

I remeber watching you on the voice, and seeing how far you've come and grown is amazing. It's hard enough to write a song but to able to write a song like that takes a lot of guts and strength. I love how personal this song is and the emotion put into it. But as they say it's the things that you got through in life that make you who you are. I had no parents growing up was just me and my brother moving from home to home to then as an adult find out I have sisters I never knew about, It just goes to show the impact people can have on your lives and how the choices they make affect you. Almost 7 months in to be a single mom this song i connect to bc when i found out i was pregnant I was 16 just turned 17 a little over a month after having my little one but when i told the guy i was dating at the time he told me to get an abortion or he was leaving and i could never go and get an abortion... so he left me at 2 months pregnant to do it all by myself, to this day i try to reach out to him to see if he wants to see his kid but he ignores it, yes his family is apart of my babies life even tho he isn't... ik many people frown against teen pregnancy but here i am doing the best i can working as much as i can to give my little one the best life while trying to finish my last year of high school, i wish thing would have gone different for me and the father but not one day goes by that i regret my decision to keep my baby... its not easy no but its worth it....

Yes! My mother's doctor tried to talk her into having an abortion but she just couldn't go through with it...she gave me up for adoption with my twin sister! My sister & I came to know Jesus as our Savior & Lord when we were teenagers & then we really began to understand how that He saved us not only once, but again for His eternal purpose...to show us His great love & forgiveness!
