Hi Ethan Many thanks for your interest, Doing the Radio Comms is a huge job, that most people don't realise the work that goes into it, so I am so pleased you have asked the question. The Comms are recorded to a digital recorder, for an airshow like waddington this can mean around 30hrs of audio. My recorder auto creates a new file each time audio is received with a time stamp. The first job when editing is to do the video then I put the radio coms in after, this goes into a new track, on my DVD's and BluRay versions I have an option that lets the user choose if they want the comms or not. I used to just have a scanner running next to a microphone fed into the camera but as you know sometimes you can get lots noise. With my audio recorder I get much better quality sound. As I said it's a huge job for example this video took about a month to do just the radio comms. Yes I must be mad but when I sit back and look at my videos I feel very proud. At the end of the day I do the videos for one person and thats myself but when I get nice comments is makes it even better. Thats the great thing about KZbin it gives my videos a chance to be seen by like minded enthusiasts instead of sitting on a hard drive or DVD. Again Many Thanks for asking and I hope you enjoy my Channel. Stu
