After this match Aghayev didn't fight because he was unable to do it. The rules say that when a fighter can't continue fighting because of a shot, then there is the hansoku. So, Aghayev wasn't acting and in Sportdata you can see a 8-0 with Reda Messaudi in the following match, because Rafael wasn't able to fight. If you don't know anything, then shut up. Besides, although he isn't my favorite fighter in 75kg, I have to say that Aghayev's Tsukis actually were faster than Dona's.

WKF tournaments are non contact. If you've been on the tatami in a fight, you can get hit quite hard yet it looks like nothing on camera. Just watch Rafael's fights, he is truly talented and not someone who would fake to win. He accepts loss gracefully. Davy is a good fighter as well, but his behaviour is arrogant and unacceptable. The least he could do was bow to apologize when he hit Rafael, as is common courtesy, as he hit Rafael hard enough for him to almost pass out from impact. Again, in a non contact sport. Davy might have won in a street fight, however, on a refined tatami- it is his loss.

Nope Rafael Jumped in a huge distance, Davys Punch was alright, Rafael added the force himself. Jumping in carefree like that should not be honored by disqualifing the other person. Meanwhile the act of Davy after he hit him was against the WKF ruleset so this was punishable. IMO

Mi Papá no fue absurda, el exagerar y hacer ese drama es motivo de descalificación, y no mostró respeto alguno ante la situación. No fue por el golpe en sí, pues en categorías mayores se permite el contacto un poco más, mas no se permite casi matar a tu oponente de un golpe, al final es un deporte de contacto, donde ha sido minimizado para la integridad de el atleta, pero realmente creo que la decisión fue tomada por la falta de respeto.

@@dlerma1987 That was a clear KO. KO is not allowed in point system (semicontact). Also the french didn't act by Karate not written rules during the KO and medical check. He had to kneel down to show respect and regret to his opponent. Kind like Muay Thai winner kneel at the feet of the defeted.

The punch did make contact, and given the speed of the punch it could have knocked him out. That followed by the disrespect shown by aka could warrant a hansoku or a shikkaku. BUT it could be argued that Aghayev wasn't in a position to defend himself so it could be argued that it would be mubobi on his side. But after seeing him withdraw from the tournament it is fairly obvious he was hurt, and that it was a gross case of lack of control.

Apparently you never had a karate match with an excessive punch in your life. Even a blind man could see that Dona's punch was out of every control. I know how that feels from my own experience. Things like that DO happen in the heat of a match, but Dona should take the referee's decision like a man and like a true karateka. "I haven't said anything about the rules." Well guess what, these rules are here for a reason, or more athletes would end up in the ER to call it a day. I agree he was faster than Aghayev, but in the end, Dona should be able to take responsibility for his actions. Next time, he won't be so negligent around how he may or may not fight, so in this sense, yes Aghayev was smarter (and more of a sportsman) than him, for he, too, could have knocked down the opponent a zillion times before that. But this wouldn't be a sport karate match then, just a mere brutality.

o Karatê Shotokan antes de tudo preza a integridade física dos atletas, desde a faixa branca é ensinado a ter o controle nos golpes. За симуляцию наказывают. В каратэ удары совершено отличаются от бокса. Со стороны кажутся, что они не мощные. Но на самом деле они пробивающие. Кирпичи не боксеры же ломают, хотя боксирующий по груше боксер покажется гораздо сильней. Специфика разная: скорость и тяжесть.
