The thing that is so frustrating is that Nick could be a great player. I think Nicks problem is resentment for his ability. He showed promise as a basketball player but he showed more in tennis so he chose tennis. I think he wishes his talents were the other way around, so he takes this anger and resentment and contempt for the game on court.

I think he's been told how talented he is, but no one has really drilled into him the benefits of discipline and respect. I think he wants to be as driven as Nadal and Federer and be as beloved as them but when it comes down to it he doesn't know how or care to put in the work. I timed Nadals serves with a stopwatch and he is well under the 25-30 seconds limit.
