Ace Bailey will probably measure out with a 7 foot wingspan and 40+ vertical at the Combine, and that top 3 pick is going to be a lock, given that he can also space the floor.

Here’s a draft exercise that I like to do. Which team is most likely the best: 5 Ace Baileys, 5 Tre Johnsons, or 5 Jeremiah Fears? It’s a good way to be honest about the true strengths and weaknesses of prospects.

Any convern for Fears shooting and turnovers? Historically, small and skinny guards has struggled to make a impact in the NBA if they cant shoot. If Fears can shoot, how else can he make an impact and get minutes?

Tre Johnson plays in a better conference and is the league guard at Texas. Ace also A 60% free throw shooter while Tre is a 86% free throw shooter and a better three point shooter.

@ james, with all due respect, are you drafting a finished product? You are drafting a project that is 18 and will be developed in the NBA. You can't teach height. Jeremiah Fears is struggling in conference games. If you are drafting a finished product, then get a senior #1. Most teams draft based on potential.

No one is a finished product. I definitely don’t want a senior either. Ace has a lot of upside but also needs to make glaring adjustments to his playing style IMO. And it can be done. But I don’t see T Mac. Not that kind of athlete or handle.

Ace is way way better than flag and you have a way way better NBA career. Just for an example Kobe Bryant was shooting an air balls against Utah Jazz in the playoff air balls and his career progress. He became one of the best basketball players in the world, one of the bestif you want to give Cooper flag time to get better it’s only fair to give Ace Bailey the same treatment give him time and I bet my house to flag will not be better than ace Bailey in my house that I live in. It’s worth 350,000.
