Please note: Wild animals can always turn and attack at a moment's notice. DON'T ever assume an animal is "friendly". Please. They can be friendly towards humans but please respect them and don't agitate them.

@Patrocle Pourchamp You must not keep up with the news, if it is your insinuation that the previous sentiment is remotely "common knowledge." People ROUTINELY get way too close to cude, cuddly, furry creatures...and wind up getting their asses handed to them. But, on second thought...you do know that. What you are being is a dick.

My dad said that animals can know the difference between animals and humans. They respect humans. There's a place in Indonesia that was at first, full of predators. Humans live there without killing the animals, they go out by themselves. And my father works as someone who pushes sharks near tourists so they can selfie and interact with it. Without protection. At a beach on an island.

@@aurelia.4851 crying in fear that badly isn't caused so easily. It transmits a message of fear, insecurity and unhappiness. Which results to her sending us the message that it is indeed true, since it does not have an explanation of it not being fear. Mostly because crying is the opposite of transmitting happy emotions, unless you tear up from laughing of course, which is caused by muscles to tense up and feel really excited.

I got to swim with stingrays once (not mantas, stingrays). They were amazing. So friendly and loved to be pet. They came up and fluttered on your back to get your attention. They can be very non aggressive if they are used to humans. Absolutely need to respect the animal and that it is still wild in either case though.

actually, when animals are friendly and playful, they do it because it makes Them happy, not because they want to make someone happy its known in scientific culture that not a single animal has the ability to feel empathy like humans they feel emotions like us, but they dont put themselves in another perspective so animals are just naturally egotistical . When they have fun with humans, they dont do it for the humans, they do it to themselves you could say its like the difference between a teacher that likes to teach and a teacher who likes to make others learn

@@peter-ww6tl umm actually orcas kill people in captivity becasue of how the are treated orcas are very smart animals and have feelings if they are treated bad they will become very agressive and that might be the reason that they dont attack humans in the wild so if an orca is in the wild you can jump in and swim with them without worrying

Okay let meh explain orcas are genuinely afraid of humans because how they are being treated in captivity and in the wild. In captivity they aren't given enough space in the tanks they're very social animals and they really need a ton of space so with the lack of space they're given in captivity gives them a lot of anxiety and depression and that causes them to die off really quickly and captivity and I know some people are wanting to make it illegal to have them in captivity and it's a good plan because somewhat wild animals are fine and captivity but wild animals like orcas should not be kept in captivity.

I want to point out that dolphins can be utter assholes. They're seen as angels but with high intellegence comes cruel tendencies like humans. I won't point out some unsavory things they do as I know that there are children here but they cause major injuries in humans. Some could be fatal if diving alone. They're also known to hold a grudge when unhappy in captivity (though that usually comes from abuse) Sea lions, although they are normally friendly are generally shy. Usually only the curious ones come up close. Some species are more aggressive than others though. The biggest threat to river dolphins is actually the river itself. They can't tell the level of pollution and can die because they don't know what level is healthy or not. Orcas have in fact killed and injured people. It's more common in captivity (like dolphins normally from abuse) It's thought that from their intelligence that they know not to go after humans because we could hunt them down but It's unlikely. It has happened in the wild If there are any inaccuracies in my statements that you can back up with proof, Please do. I'm always looking to better my knowledge and some of this was done with a quick 10-20 minute search to double check my knowledge but I probably got something wrong. I'm always up for criticism P.S Nurse and lemon sharks are also pretty calm animals. Some great whites are known to be really friendly as well. I'm honestly surprised that you picked the Hammerhead, though not the worse one I've seen.

Animals are actually nice, and it's natural that they are happy. The only problem is they get hostile towards humans when they see or experience mistreatment whether to them or to the other animals. Some animals are naturally aggressive because the part of their brains that act up on aggressive behavior is fully active.

also, just so you know, in the future, try not to 'feed' the manaties with fresh water or pet them again. since they're so friendly, once they associate humans with good things, they begin to approach us a lot more. this wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that the only place where manatees will find us is by the water, which is most cases, is usually at docking stations. hundreds of these gentle giants are killed brutally by boat propellers or permanently scarred/disfigured because they were looking for more compassion. its so very sad, and as someone whos pet/feed them myself, it breaks my heart that doing so will only result in them getting themselves hurt it the future =( i hope you had a lovely time though, and i'm glad you had a great experience down here!

it's good, because the more we love and appreciate an animal, the more we catch and hold in captivity in very unnatural cages/aquariums. the happiest animals are animals that never get to see any humans.
@miavika1074
@miavika1074 3 жыл бұрын
@@moos5221 I believe there are both pros and cons to holding them in zoos and stuff, cons being basically your points, and pros being that, if the zoo makes the cage specially made to make the animal comfortable, then they get to live a life of luxury without fear of being eating alive by another animal plus they live longer and rarely get sick if taken care of properly, but unfortunately, not all zoos do that and keep them purely fo the money so the animals end living in even worse conditions 😔
@moos5221
@moos5221 3 жыл бұрын
@@miavika1074 yeah, in a perfect world a perfect zoo may be a place for animals to live a life in dignity, but sadly this world is the complete opposite from being perfect and even though some zoos really try (most don't), it's impossible to create a near natural habitat for some animals - and this applies to dolphins more to many other animals. it's not only being confined in too small cages/aquariums, it's also about being kept in chlorine water which destroyes their eyes instead of being in oceans sea water. i think where i live it's illegal to have dolphins in zoos for those reasons. but i agree, there is something positive about zoos and i very much enjoy visiting them. we humans are just very good at keeping negative things out of focus to feel better about what we do.

Don’t forget about the Stripped Beakfish, also known as the Barred Knifejaw, which is a small tropical fish found in coral reefs in Japan. Its name sounds really scary, and they can bite pretty hard, but they are also very curious. They’ll often come up to divers and will sometimes like to be touched (but please don’t reach out and touch them, they’ll rub up against you). They can only get up to 80 cm at the largest, but are rarely more than two feet or so. They actually look pretty cute, and have adorable stripes. They like to interact with people and get close to them, and as long as you don’t disturb them, they’ll swim alongside you!

Yoriko's species has pretty large head, indicates that they have relatively big brain inside for a fish which make them able to emotionally attach or interact with surrounding subjects.

you know the size of the brain of whales? you think horses or cows have big brains? head size gives no tell whatsoever about the intelligence of an animal.

Steve Sam on top of the ray , unfortunately, this is seen as a threat by the animal, so it's natural response was to protect it self. The ray reacted to Steve being above him and stung Steve in Steve's heart if I got the information right.

See the turtle of enormous girth! On his shell he holds the Earth. His thought is slow but always kind. He holds us all within his mind. On his back all vows are made. He sees the truth but mayn't aid. He loves the land and he loves the sea. He even loves a child like me. - The Dark Tower series
