I really wish I was able to do a language exchange program in high school because that would've helped me sooooo much. I study Chinese in university in an applied linguistics program but because of the workload of other courses, I was never able to put in a decent amount of effort. Because of the pandemic, my exchange to Xi'an has been postponed twice already and now I'm taking online Chinese classes at a university in China, but I'm really missing living in a Chinese-speaking environment. It's so cool to hear you speak Chinese and to see the immense progress you have made from absolutely zero knowledge of Chinese to HSK5!!! Wow dude! HSK5 in 10 months is really impressive! Props to you, and I'm glad you had such a wonderful experience in China. Take care.

I still remember two years ago right after you left China. I found that you lived 5 mins away from my home in Beijing.
