Yesss! *fist pump xD That was a good point you brought up that I never really thought about when people are like 'this is me deal with it :P' It is true that people can actually change to be BETTER versions of themselves. Ever since I was young I have also been very shy and quiet, but I am starting to try and approach people more and engage in initiating conversations even if it is slightly awkward xD because I've realised it's just as nerve wracking for other people to take lead and that always expecting that of people to approach you is kind of selfish. It's strange how making friendships seem like such a simple thing but can often be so complicated. So thank you Rafi for sharing your wisdom and breaking things down :D Btw I have another manga suggestion, I've been reading a lot since I've gotten into webtoons so you have to read Winter Woods! It's the most precious story and it's so heartwarming to watch the character develop. It's about growth, experiences and relationships and it's just ahhh.It's beautiful. You have to! You have to.... *forces it in your face xD

Tip: just slowly walk to a little group of "harmless-looking" ppl and just laugh when they laugh... One of them might start talking to u and u just say something relatable~~~~ (it works for me)

i think my problem is thinking too much. i'm much in the peripheral of my class. people do approach me sometimes, but i seriously don't know how to response, and when i do, i think it back and that makes my mood goes down.. so sometimes i just decide to be alone is better, but after a certain period, i began to feel lonely.. any tips on how to not be so inferior? or like how to stop thinking about what others think of you? i'm too self-conscious i guess..

could you perhaps make a video on how to make friends outside of your own gender? because I have many female friends but I would love to make some male friends too, I was friends with a guy from 1st grade until sometime last year and it was really fun! I used to lend him manga and we used to wrestle when we were little and make silly jokes... he even told me that he had watched some anime but secretly I knew that he was lying to impress on me XD But sadly, school decided to break our class to pieces and make new classes, so we are not so close anymore. The last time I said hi to him he just looked away and ignored me which made my social anxiety worse. I've been paying attention yto the new guys in class and they all seem to have really fun together and I would just really like to join in some time, but I don't know how!

yeah..delinquent boys aren't bad at all. I am a talkless type of person..not a shy. honestly i have many boy friends than girl friends during my middle n high school. it because i dont really like to talk about girls thingy (make up, gossip, etc) but i like to talk about sports, anime, games..which is mostly boys like.. #beyourself is sometimes i do but i can autochange my mood, attitude and behaviour when i involve in some sort of topic, enviroment or with the person i've talk too.. because making someone 'hate' or give their bad thought about me can bring me down for 35 years. so why not change a lil bit of ourself..it might be look like a plastic but its not hard to try. :)

How I make friends:I walk up to the person and say hi and introduce myself.Then I ask them what are their interests.If they say one of my interests like drawing,I just start a convo about it🙂.I be myself.If they not a real friend,I stop talking to them.Toxic (also known as PHONY!) friends are the worst.Especially if they always start drama😡😡😡😔:(:/

Also, you may think that your world will end without your best friend at first, but tbh you'll move on sooner than you'd think. Friendship is a dynamic thing. People change and grow.
