This brings me back to high school (more than a decade ago) when I first discovered PotO. I fell in love immediately and even saw a Broadway tour production for Christmas one year. Wohooooooo! This makes me so happy. I think it's probably the biggest introduction to Rafscrap and Co. that I got that really made me pay attention and subscribe and then get hyped over every new release. I stand by still wanting a full theatrical production of this version of Phantom of the Opera. A full theatre musical, a full movie release (animated or live action), I'll take it anyway we can have it just please make it so! Ah, you always enjoy making videos where you're highlighting sweet/innocent + dark seduction. And why wouldn't you when it's so delicious. It's such a great chemistry of voices and what a difficult song to tackle. But I remember being so impressed when I first heard it and that hasn't changed years later. I especially enjoy the naivete or endearing sweetness which Lacey brings out in her vocals, and it's an extremely fitting pairing with Rafscrap's dangerously dark romantic crooning. This cover is always one of my first picks when I start the Rafscrap playlist and it's also one of the first songs I send to friends to start them on the Rafscrap gay spiral of a rabbit hole. One of the things I wish I could experience as if it were the first time, is the moment when exploring these covers and getting those shivers of awe and delight. I think your channel and work is a rare find, Rafscrap. What a treasure we stumbled upon. Thanks for the video, thanks for the covers, and thank you for the gay and all that you do to provide it!
