I knew nothing about Rory until this interview …. he seems so very empathetic …. and not afraid to be himself. I’m so glad he’s got the success from his music, but I like that he would just have been happy to sing at small gigs as long as he could write and sing.

This duo was everything❤❤ Phenomenal interviewing style and sensitive manner with your amazing guest, Jamie! (As usual, you were born to interview, such a lovely way about how you converse with all of your guests!) Adore Rag’N’Bone Man, thank you for having him on! And thank you to Rag’N’Bone Man (Rory) for sharing parts of your life with us and for being so vulnerable 🫶 Lots of love to you both xxx

Being an introvert doesn’t mean you lack confidence, it means your confidence doesn’t manifest in a loud way. That’s my take anyway.😊

What an absolutely lovely guy - these are the role models we need. And thank you Jamie for yet another excellent, compassionate interview - you are in a class of your own. Wishing you both the most awesome best x

The fact that he looks like an absolute rough and ready bruiser and the way he expresses himself and corrects himself in how he addresses his wife ("current missus", haha, "wonderful missus is what I should have said") sums him up for me. I was meant to write about his song "Human" in my music class at uni, but am now a fan of the "human" behind HUMAN ... his genre and his sound may not be entirely captivating at the first listen, but I am keeping an open mind and will allow it to grow on me !! Big ups Rory, you're such a warm presence even over the virtual platform. Respectful, considerate, caring, effusive, sincere, authentic, cordial, and such a sensitive human being! Looks sure can be deceiving!

What a lovely man - never knew what he would be like. I live quite close by to him and have seen him just doing “normal” stuff on many occasions so kinda knew he would be down to earth but wow!

I had a dream the other night that Rory was plastering my childhood bedroom walls… and I woke up thinking what a genuinely lovely bloke… having lost my Dad in May, I started sobbing when he spoke about his Mum having died.

Rory is a lovely guy. Met him many times in Brighton at Audio Active events in his early days. Funnily enough, I engaged with him before he was RagNBone Man, when he was at Audio Active, and meeting him later, though he probably didn't remember me, he at least tried to remember. And he was the same as before, decent, funny, and a great calming presence. Powerful lyricist and singer/powerful artist.

WADR, Jamie, popular use may have confused people abt what the term, "introvert" actually means & it's getting mixed-up w/shy, low self-esteem & lack of confidence. An introvert is not necessarily a shy person, or someone without confidence, or low self-esteem➡an introvert could or could not have those additional qualities. Per Carl Jung, the originator of the terms introvert & extrovert ➡The defining factor is: does this person get energized by solitude, solitary projects, 1:1 interactions, etc & do they get drained after large gatherings (even tho had fun) & need to re-charge battery w/solitude? An extrovert gets energized by being w/people, frequently socializing, gets energy from being in groups, and an extrovert's energy gets drained by solitude, lack of social interaction. And, like a lot of characteristics, people have different degrees vs all one or the other. Anyway, I think knowing those definitions could unravel some of the mystery you were trying to understand re: Rag’n’Bone Man. I enjoyed this podcast immensely...thanks for putting yourself out here❣
