RaGa Rain | Amritavarshini & Megh Malhar| RaGa Candid on Eppo Music

Ranjani and Gayatri sing a medley of two ragas associated with rains and monsoon - Amritavarshini and Megh Malhar. The spontaneous alap that alternates between both ragas, leading to Dikshitar's Anandamrita karshini and Barse Badariya, a Meera Bhajan is the perfect ode to rain.

"When we talking to our dear friends about our travelogue, they requested us to visit the beautiful mountainside and Redwood groves in Mill Valley, California and offer our music here. This song was a simple and spontaneous prayer from our hearts as the narrow trickle of the waterfall gurgled near us. Sitting and singing in this most serene and scenic spot was one of the highlights of our visit here.
Ranjani - Gayatri present version 2 of RaGa Candid through Eppo Music. These episodes are longer, more nuanced and immersive presentations that weave together music, conversations and themes.
