Set in a dystopian future, the year 2898 AD, "Kalki 2898 AD" is inspired by Hindu scriptures. The film follows the story of Kalki, believed to be the tenth and final avatar of the god Vishnu, who descends to Earth to restore balance and fight evil. Prabhas plays Bhairava.
"Kalki 2898 AD" boasts a star-studded cast alongside Prabhas. The legendary Amitabh Bachchan takes on the role of Ashwatthama, an immortal warrior figure from the Mahabharata. Kamal Haasan portrays Kali, another pivotal character. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani also star in prominent roles.

7:27 Isn’t the entire point of peak Kali is that everyone has forgotten about god? Rivers have dried up and there’s no morality in humans? Hence the alcohol and meat flows free even in Kasi as shown in prelude? I think Ragadi has COMPLETELY disregarded the Kalki glimpse and Ashwatthama glimpse where the tone is ominous and more serious. Rn, the makers are purely targeting children. Hence the cute content. Which isn’t a bad idea at all. And stop comparing this to Salaar, no one cared abt story in Salaar…we went for pure prabhas mania…this movie is more than prabhas and his image. The real litmus test would be the trailer. If it’s half as good as the sky high expectations, it will bring the hype.

What they've created might be amazing, but he's talking from a box-office perspective.. you and me are not going to pay 5k or 10k for one ticket, or watch the movie 5 to 6 times in theatres, or do paala-abhishekas to Prabhas cutouts, that's a different demographic and he's talking about the promotions not touching that demographic. I'm not glorifying any of the above things, but we have to admit that they do bring business, and in the end, a movie is a business transaction. So the target audience is that. They are possibly making as much as promotion. Still a month is left to increase it further. As you said it's Prabhas film, no campaign needed for filmy audience. Promotion is most important for people who are not soo much into films and regularly won't follow updates, which they are achieving this aspect pretty well. Internet is the ERA now, Telugu reviews are getting little late on B&B series, but Hindi is ramp packed. If anime has soo much detail and goodness, it gives hype to the movie as well. Santosh Narayan is one of the best music director, I can't imagine any one else who can pull soo many genre music like he can in a single movie. People will know about KALKI because of B&B, not B&B because of KALKI. That impact is possible. They are presenting series in theater as well, an added benefit. Bro do you know Kantara until it came to theatre? Content is main thing, rest all people will take care

What you said is correct, except me no one in my house don't know that kalki movie coming, some people ask what is our problem when producers and director don't bother about it, exactly i don't have any problem but problem is the budget, for small budget movies mouth talk after release is enough to make breakeven, but for big budget movies like this promotion is very important as mouth talk after release. Again it is not a unknown production house to telugu people, it is coming from very well known telugu production house. How much it will collect will depend on how movie satisfies people, but for openings there should be hype around common audience not around social media users. As you said, to reach common people bujji and bhairava has to be available on KZbin not on prime video.
