She feels like she has a case of, “lesbian syndrome” to me. Firstly, she shows a weird fascination with Pomni, almost immediately when she shows up, and immediately hangs around her, and when Pomni sees her glitching out and stuff, she’s still trying to be patient and kind to her. She shows this treatment towards Pomni and ONLY Pomni, even when there are other characters who are unstable, like Gangle, Kinger, and Kaufmo probably before he abstracted, she treated similarly. But when Pomni comes, she’s automatically more presenting towards her, and talks about her when she’s not with them. She also shows no anger or aggression towards her for leaving her out of fear, which is behavior only found in those who have their primitive lizard brain being like, “Oh, a potential life-long partner, I’ll release endorphins around them whenever they are around, even if it hurts me!” And that’s basically what romantic love is. (Or very, VERY deep friendship, but that’s hard to understand considering that she doesn’t know Pomni, or has even known her for more than two days, and she already is sweet to her and only her.) She puts Pomni’s safety before her own, despite knowing Pomni only for a little bit which implies that she subconsciously or consciously thinks, “ooh a cute jester girl, I’m going to be exceptionally nice to her.” And she’s like, obviously, maybe has a little bit of homosexual interests in her. SO, yeah. Usually it’s too hard to connect what the writer is trying to say with a character this early in the show, but I’m 90% they chose deliberately to write Ragatha with queer undertones.

Im not trying to be that guy, you can ship who you want. I see it more as ragatha just being a bit insecure that pomni may not like her. Anyone can be attractive no matter their sexual orientation. To say that a woman is more attractive than another woman based on her sexual orientation just sounds odd. It’s not a personality trait or a look. “I’m more attractive than you because I’m lesbian” or “I’m more attractive than you because I’m straight.” Sounds weird doesn’t it?

i do ship ragatha and pomni but it isnt anything too serious.
