In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

I'm so glad that Ndidi acknowledged the American African American community. It seems that very few Nigerians ever do.

Yes, i am glad she did but this unfortunate issues goes both ways. We should learn to regard one another, after all we are all human beings. It is quite sad that blacks segregate among themselves because some have their parents living in Africa and others ancestors of slaves from Africa. We must bond together if we must all get ahead together.

I truly enjoy the talk especially with Amina, but I am lost. I cannot seems to match this talk with what is on ground here in Nigeria. To say MDGs already impact on 40 million is huge and bloated. One of my friend head the MDGs of a state and I am shaking my head here. I am still looking around to find this One Billion Dollars developmental gifts... especially the waters and the schools. I wish Thomas Sankara can return to chat with the UN of this world and its staff.

So noticeable that people who never experienced real life in Africa, and probably their families were connected with criminal and stealing money, now tell us about their trips all over the world and dealing with financial resourses in poor countries...
