I just got the Pro Qualifier and caught a fish almost identical in size on a Senko, its so good, it's my first baitcaster and I absolutely love it. great vids man keep them coming.

For me braid all the way. One of the main reasons is a frog bite can be rather explosive and braid is gonna hold up a lot better. Normally you're fishing frogs in grass or around some type of cover so you want to make sure you have heavy enough line to get the fish out. Thanks bud and thanks for watchin!!

when using toads and frogs i've heard tht you should use braid cuz it can rip through the grass and weed etc. but i've also heard tht u should use mono cuz it floats and doesnt sink like braid what do u think? and also nice vid that hit was awesome!

This post was a long time ago but answer your question, when using frogs with an ewg hook you can use mono or braid and be fine. Braid floats and so does mono, the appeal of braid is it has no strech and is more buyant than mono so it floats better. If your using a frog with 2 hooks that are built in then braid is beneficial because you have to set the hooks aggresivly and there is no stretch in braid so you get a harder hook set. Regardless you can use either for frogs but i recommend braid as it floats better and has no stretch for setting hooks and cutting weeds.
