The bad ADC mains that were spoiled this split are going to QQ super hard now that they can be bursted by the class that's supposed to burst them. They liked the current meta where Kat/Qiyana were at 47-48% WR (which is contradictory b/c they simultaneously say our champ is braindead and easy to play; funny how that works). I'm calling the soon to be palpable salt in the air now given that kat's WR is 49% now and climbing

I guess Riot wanted Kat Mains to go to a more squishy crit, hybrid build instead of the bruiser Kat build. So while it does seem like Kat is gonna do insane amounts of damage, she’s gonna be back to squishy Kat. Honestly, I’d prefer sustain and more defensive given that Kat sucks ass in lane

The rng thing mentioned during the dummy thing is not rng, but has to de with ulti targetting. Also the testing you have to keep in mind that you will usually not finish a full ulti in game

The "major item update" only created the mechanics of mythical items (1 choice per class) and legendary item (impossible to have 2 of the same). But that didn't remove the issue of champion inequality (some can build 60% of in-game items, and some have only one build). Now imagine a world where you can choose your stats and build an item based on its passive/active or effect: - the AP and the AD become the "adaptive force" like the rune - critical hits in AP become "AP crits" like on TFT - for the attack speed / CDR / mana / HP there is a convertible in gold such as 150hp = 400g up to a limit that can be added in each compartment of items. - the omnivamp was well designed with this in mind, but riot backtracked and gradually replaced it with the old lifesteal. a talon/trynda/darius early can now build mejai AD and snowball early, an AD assassin like zed/talon can now build zonia and tempo after a kill an adc can choose a rabadon in 4th item which will give him +30% AD and steroid his damage. Riot games clumsily tries to do this by creating AP/AD ratios and "on hits" everywhere but it's on a case-by-case basis and it's just going to create more katarinas by that I mean eventually all the champions of the game are going to build the most overpowered item in the game and that's not what we want.

I do wonder how Kata would work with Duskblade. Duskblade new passsive gives u untargetable for 1.5s wouldn't that allow Kat to typically 1v5 on command if she has already high damage with kraken, she can clean up in that 1.5s for sure especially ass Kraken scales with AD/AP.

From my tests Nashors feels best 1st item so far except if they build hp than bork rush if its a melee vs meleee fight or a tank who builds armor/mr go kraken. following with rageblade>bork/kraken>wits end i did 97k total in my best game so far 7 items at 21 in any game feels great :) . runepage domination: hail of blades,sudden impact,eyeball,bounty hunter precsion: Alacrity/tenacity - Cutedown/Last stand

Honestly both are decent. AD kat means bruiser Kat and it’s amazing for early game laning and when you snowball with it, you’re crazy strong. But when you fall behind, you do nothing. AP is pretty weak early, but stronger in the late game. Issue is most league games finish around mid game (around 20 mins). it’s rare to see games go into late game so imo, going AD is better than AP most of the times.

You trade damage for sustain and survivability. Actually Kat goes back to squishy so any hard CC champ can make life a living hell for her in team fights. and she gets bursted like she used to get before bruiser Kat.
