I reeeeeally like Doshaguma. Definitely one of the coolest fanged beasts we’ve had. Cool thing I noticed while fighting one; since I’m a gunner, I went to buff my Palico with some demon ammo, only to find that not only does Demon, Armor, and Recovery ammo now put a stake in the ground and work like Booster tools from World, but you can actually buff and heal YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN AMMO NOW!! It’s pretty friggin sweet. Sorry, that didn’t really have anything to do with Doshy, and this won’t either: while they only provide us with the Hope weapons, if you go into your tent, you can actually try out the 3 starting monsters’ armor. No Rey Dau armor, but you can use Chatacabra, Doshaguma, and Balahara armor. Seems like a lot of people aren’t aware of this.

Played it some more tonight... went out just to experience the beauty and fidelity.... 1. The storm came in and made me hard panic 2. I walked up to a resting Doshagum 3. He didn't see me so he was peacful until he got attacked by a bunch of small monsters 4. He then agro'd on me because on that and chased me 5. I ran away 6. I ran head first into ANOTHER Doshaguma 7. They both chased me 8. I ran around them 9. Turns out Rey Dau was on the other side hunting there 10. Got cornered by 2 Doshaguma and a Rey Dau ..... 11. 1 Doshaguma got paralyzed by either Rey or the Natural Lightning 12. I got injured by the fire on the ground caused by the surrounding lightning 13. Ran through some thorn bushes which injured me... 14. Barely escaped with my life

Great video! Love cotton just being in the dark lol! The reason the power clash isn’t happening when you block is that it has a build up meter kinda like applying poison. So it won’t do it every time even if you time it right (at least that’s what it seems like).

Probably already said a bunch, but Clashes are a Block and Offset attack mechanic not a Focus Mode mechanic. Its also said in a tutorial screen you've mashed over in earlier vid. I recommend not doing that, the mashing thing Edit: Also, the block timing thing is Perfect blocking, and contributes more to the power Clash "status" Same with offset attacks

I'm going to say it. There should be no reason when the game comes to full release for there to be a monetized requirement to re-edit your character and Palico. The system is already in the game and the player should be allowed to access the full editing options at any time. I'd even accept it being accessible only after the player finished the at release story mode. Why should a player have to make another save file to change character figure features beyond cosmetics? Explain why a player is only allowed to change cosmetic options like hair and make up? How profitable is it that Capcom continues the trend of making people pay for that access.

I personally find Doshaguma to be a harder fight than freaking Rey Dau. I was able to solo kill Rey Dau in just under 18 minutes with LBG and no faints, but freaking Doshaguma here will take 12 and a cart. cant wait to see you get your arse kicked by Railgun Dragon.

To get a power clash you need to build up the clash by continuously blocking monster attacks. U dont need to perfect time it. Im pretty sure its 4 blocks for a clash then 24 and so on.
