This is a really fun build and it's easy to re-configure. One of the more fun things to do is put Lightning Spear and Chain Lightning in the Enchantment slots, and then go around shooting lightning balls and watch the resulting lightning storm bring everything down.

I built my first sorcerer build this season. I didn't use a guide or anything and doing pretty well without. I'm just disappointed in the lack of dps like the other classes, and the speed while attacking. But I had the god mode quill volley last season. These builds are great if two things are true. 1) you're able to be strong enough to get to tier 4. 2) You can get enough armor or barrier up time to get through T3 to get forgotten alter/Mythic gear.

How does the shocking impact temper passive compare to compare to the chance for lightning spear to do double damage? The shocking impact would trigger from every lightning spear hit and can crit and overpower. The temper on a staff starts at 10 and scales by 4 per upgrade for a max of 26 on the staff. With the 1 point from the chest piece and 3 points into the skill gets you to 30 ranks which is 1500% weapon damage every hit. It also works the boss. I have been trying out a stun build currently using the arc lash enchantment and have managed pit 78 so far while having my armor at 4% and 50% ish resists.

Im up to 33 ranks right now and during PTR is broke the 95 wall. Right now not too sure. But I have gotten 2-3b crits with fairly weak glyphs so it has promise. But i stacked SI everywhere I could and even convultions with a 200% LH. Ive been bouncing back and forth between charged bolts/chain lightning as a generator mainly for LH procs I haven't seen any major difference. Even go as far as to use ball lit having one of those unique focus and have it just modify the ball lit that UC generates and not actually cast ball lit at all

I created a build with Oculus (wand teleport) for teleport max dmg was amazing with raiment of infinite and full dmg on gear for the most hight dps we can get was amazing teleporting into packs of elites and disintegreted them in 1 second.. (well until pit 80) :D now im focusing on Meteor since they buffed a bit :)

I’ve played all and sorcerer has so many more options for fun play. Each character only has one end build that’s ridiculous and strong. The season is so long that we spread out and play other classes. It’s never really much fun to obliterate with 1T damage. Might as well stay at Torment 1 and dominate and have fun then reach Torment 4 fully leveled for everything to do just the same results. I’m now at 242K damage with the best 3 mythics and it’s just fun with any build. I’ve tried them all. Just love things flying everywhere on screen and killing around corners before I even get there.

In the Grow witchcraft power description it its stated "Your servants, minions and companions are empowered, growing larger in size and dealing 45% bonus summoning damage + 100% crit strike chance". Is lightning spear a servant/minion/companion? I know it's a summon i'm just confused if a summon is necessarily one of the three. If so, crit chance from gear and/or other effects is just straight up not needed, right?

To be honest lightning spear is one of my favorite builds, but that may be due to Blizzard's RNG gods tend to just take their dumps on me. So I rarely get more than 2 preferred stats or multiple GAs of stats I want, when the stars align for that I tempers brick or I'm stuck with a low roll. So since it can work without perfect gear that makes a huge difference. I had 8 lvl 100 characters and only ever seen 4 mythics total, 2 of which were the melted heart and 2 came last season.

Is bad that the most efficient way to reach 300 paragon is to do something that is so boring as pits and most classes can’t push it high enough and quick enough to be effective. They really need to work on end game in general and open up the possibilities how each class gets there. Again just my opinion

I know it's hard to use eyes/ears and take in information and resist commenting before you understand and looking silly but: 1. 4.5 mins for a 90 in 'bad' gear is great, as said and shown I don't even have an ancestral amulet nor 12/12 etc 2. LS is factually the current top Sorc build with a Pit 118, this is my, optimum, version of it, just because my gear can't produce the numbers better gear can doesn't change the mechanical solidness of the set up. Nothing here is wrong or misinfo (as evidenced by you not pointing out a single actual error yourself) and it's quite frankly insulting that you're just assuming it is, I'm one of the 4-5~ best sorcs actually researching and pushing the class every season across the PTR and live, in constant discussion with the others. Please stop watching our videos.

I'm a Gemling legionnaire fireball caster, so much fun 😁 if I change my mind, I can be a Gemling summoner or even a archer, the possibilities are endless, in the meantime, sorcerer can only be Fireball or Lightning spear to get to pit 100, doesn't matter how are you work, nothing can go higher so you are stuck.

​@@Valverde713 yeah I like poe 2 but when you hit Endgame you are also hit with the reality that your build sucks and you'll have to use it for a few days until you have good RNG and drop a few Divines so you can copy a build that will let you push over map 10s Biggest difference between D4 and poe 2 is that in D4 I can farm items for a new build in 1 day with normal RNG, but poe 2 have more diversity
