I used to do security for them, just before they got really famous - it was great fun, and what made it even funnier, Rene and I look a bit like each other. I’m taller and bigger, but the resemblance were high enough to fool people who didn’t know either of us personally unfortunately Lene could tell the difference, but she did sometimes act (in fun), as she couldn’t! And I listen to all kind of metal, be it death, black, melodic and so on for more than 20 years now (Ranging from Marduk, CoF, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth and the likes to... Nightwish). Kind of working in reverse chronological order with ROL - I started when Martyna joined. I must say, this rendition of a mindless party pop song was freaking amazing and the visuals were very entertaining! I once attempted to drown out despair and depression with this sort of music and I actually still think I have the album this song is from on CD! Turns out metal is way more cathartic, but this was both a blast from the past and just better than the original, to be plain.

I also suffer from depression. without metal I don't know where I would be right now. it is extremely cathartic. there have been studies done on music in general and these people who call themselves experts say that people who listen to heavy metal are more laid-back and their mood is better in general.
