I remember this game seeming so dated amongst the new 3D fighters at the time, now those 3D fighters look like shit & this game is still beautiful

I have a copy of SF Anniversary Collection (Hyper SF2 + SF3 3rd Strike, U.S. versions unfortunately) and SFZ Fighters' Generation. Both of these games are light years ahead of the upcoming SF 30th Anniversary Collection, which are essentially just ROMs running on an emulator with no standard console version options. I'm interested in showcasing it and was wondering what kind of equipment did you use to record these playthrough videos?

Really those are all you ever need for Street Fighter (besides Capcom Classics Collection Volume 1, or Saturn Capcom Generation 5 for the original versions of Street Fighter II). But one who has those, also need all the SNK fighters one can get (which I have done so to go along SF Anniversary Collection PS2 and SF Alpha Anthology PS2).

why unfortunately?

Never forget that time I played this one on my PS2, and literally got a blister along the way, and started feeling it on the pad of the controller. So I ripped that sucker open, pain ensued, and beat Gill while the spot where the blister was hurt like hell. But hey, I beat the game, despite the pain.

Were you using the standard Dualshock controller? I really hate that controller for 2D fighting games.

Any differences between the Japanese and American versions?
@kofhero777 жыл бұрын
Tomás Delizia as far as i know. In the japanese version urien time out animation is him bleeding out of his arm while the american version the blood is censored (sorry for my bad english)
@DanTheRoadRippersCollector11 ай бұрын
@kofhero77 so that's why Urien has blood coming out of him on my emulated JPN port but doesn't appear on my PS2 game (which is the USA port). Also I think the JPN port is easier to beat than the USA port.

Oh also Akuma goes by his real name (Gouki) in the JPN port

I love Street Fighter 3: 3rd Srtike, but I don't like the annoying parries. What is the point in parrying against attacks when you already know how to block against attacks? That doesn't make any sense.
