Well the Gamecube sold 21 million units which means by process means around 5-8% of all Gamecube owners had purchased this game Also the Gamecube wasn’t an huge failure, it was actually kinda a small failure since if I remember right Nintendo was just an bit below it’s BEP (break even point) on the console when they discontinued it

I really love how Nintendo has mastered the art of making the internet freak out over stuff that, out of context, seems stupid. There’s a book cover (this game), a number (Metroid Prime 4), a puzzle piece (Banjo and Kazooie in Smash), an ellipsis (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX), and a camera lens (New Pokémon Snap) just to name a few

What makes SuperMarioT's reaction even better is that right before he started screaming, he was apologizing to his viewers about his dogs barking. SuperMarioT is right up there with Arlo as the most insane and intense reaction to this trailer from what I've seen. It only makes sense, seeing as Paper Mario, how it's changed and how it refused to go back to its roots is basically the bedrock of his channel, the base where he built everything else from. Yep, this is what I always get confused about. I thought Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door came out in summer of 2005. But I didn't realize until I researched that it was 2004. Hence why 2004 to me was somewhat of a forgotten year for me compared to the amount of video games from Nintendo released in 2003.

I have not seen such and intense and immediate reaction to a game reveal since maybe halo 3. The implications for this remake are huge. Obviously the game is god tier if it’s invoking this level of emotion from literal grown adults 20 years later. Second, with what I can predict as record sales on this release, we might actually get the true to form paper Mario sequel we have been waiting for.

I’m starting a LP because of the remaster that is coming out later this year. My mom was an alcoholic, she stuck me in front of a nintendo 64 asking me to take care of myself while she partied all night, did drugs and never took care of me as a child since I was a baby . Once she was able afford a Nintendo Gamecube; the first game I got was TTYD. I have many fond hours and memories with this game. If it wasn’t for my mother being an alcoholic mess and locking me into my room with my own solitude, I’d never enjoy nintendo/mario JRPG’S. I KNOW IT SOUNDS DEPRESSING AND TERRIBLE (DO NOT FEEL BAD. IM 26). I GOT MY OWN HOUSE AND I LOVE NINTENDO AND ALL OF MARIO’S JRPGS. Paper Mario: TTYD, is the best Nintendo game ever made, in my opinion. For the past 10 years, I've been looking for it, everywhere. But, when I tried to get it, it was to high, or I just didn't have the money at that moment. Growing up, this got me through tons of stuff. Alot of personal stuff, and this is the thing I went back to, to get me out of the funk. So, every single time I see this trailer, being a 31 year old male, I tear up.
