Cait Sith being Scottish is something I never knew I wanted.

Everybody knows that giving a character a Scottish accent makes them better. Granted, I also realize that they're going to expand Reeve's storyline and he's going to be smuggling information and equipment to the different Avalanche cells across the world. This might go a long way to make the character more likable, even despite the thing he does to your party.

I've seen the brand new announcement trailer more than a thousand times now, lol. Everything is just so GORGEOUS! I probably watched the First Look, Summer Fest and the brand new announcement trailer more times than I can count! OMG, they did NOT have to show Sephiroth's PRETTY face in close ups like that during that boss fight, especially when Sephiroth asks Cloud to trust him and when he asks himself if he was even human! I nearly fainted! Sephiroth is just TOO BEAUTIFUL, not to mention sexy and I love him!

More details got revealed in the newest article on PlayStation blog and other interviews: - 100 hours of gameplay. - The climax of this game will include The Forgotten Capital, but no Wutai until part 3. - You will "control sephiroth in the same part as the original game". - Not all party members will be playable until part 3 (like Cid and Vincent), but those that you can not control will be companion characters like Red XIII was in part 1. (This problaly hints that Cid will be a guest character like Red was in Remake). - No save data transfer, but you get Leviathan for Remake and Ramuh for Intermission episode save data. - No Wutai until game 3, but there seems to be Wutai outposts of resistance / immigrants.

PERSONAL THEORIES: - I think that the guy that the gay that apperars near the end of the trailer in Rufus's parade, is Glenn from FF VII: Ever Crisis. - I'm pretty sure Vincent will be playable. Not only he is a very popular character, but I am pretty sure he will join before Cosmo Canyon and Gold Saucer. The one that will not be playable will be Cid, because how late he will join the party (Rocket Town will not be too far from City of the Ancients).

The game will end in “city of ancients” it’s been revealed by the devs. Devs also said that like the first game this one will also have companions you can’t control which will then be playable in the next game. So there is a high chance that both Vincent and cid aren’t playable since cait, yuffie and red are all playable in this one.

The name has its roots in Gaelic mythology. As such, the pronunciation would be "Cat She". That said, since the vast majority of the community has called this thing 'Kate Sith' for over 2 decades, it sort of becomes the default.
