Good thoughts on the film. Edition was groundbreaking here. The only doubt I have is that I think Scorsese don't use diferents ring sizes for firt's Sugar Ray fight. Instead he changed the angular on the camera to create a percepcion of wide space.

Very inciteful of You to see difference in arms in Robinson 6th Fight. In reality Closeups were a white fighters arms with makeup as DeNiro did not trust Actor who played Robinson for contact shots.
