The acting in this movie, Scorsese really captures humanity in such a vulnerable light, you can feel the emotions in the characters. You can feel the passion when Jake first meets his wife and you can feel the anger and paranoia, the hostility that he feels, also the way that he shows us how men treated women and their wives.
