Women did this themselves. Traditionalism is dead. That's never coming back outside of people that specifically go out for it or end up at it via happy happenstance. All these women see men as banks. It's not equality or women in the work force that fucked it up all. It's feminist introduction of the man hating zeitgeist and women utilizing that to get both worlds. It's like a chinese menu. They utilize old world courting to hold onto the idea that they have value and men need to court them, but also new world egalitarianism that they have no obligations inherently for what they are. Then tie it up all up with misandry to shame and beat men, reinforcing that not only are women inherently valuable but men sexuality and presence is a negative and needs to be countered with incentives for interaction and bribes. The bullshit worked for a long time because feminist and the transition between the technological freedoms of humanity blurred exactly what the social rules are. But even if men don't exactly know it, they can tell they are getting fucked. They are not valued as equals, if not outright disrespected and they are DEFINATELY not valued as romantic partners. These women deserve to be alone. They have no concept of romanticism, they don't see anything they can offer as something to give but something that raises the bar for what they deserve to get from guys.

You made the right choice. Marriage is not really necessary anymore, when you think about it. It is a relic of the old days, and really something that only the religious types truly care about. Also, it's god damn expensive! The continuation of the human race is not dependent upon the institution of marriage, neither is the raising of families. Children are going to be born, whether marriage is in place, or not. People are going to screw each other, whether there is a ring on their finger, or nothing at all. And children will always have role models, because "role modelling" is not restricted to simply biological mothers or fathers. Adoptive parents, who are willing and able, will work just as well. The problem for colleges is that they are becoming more and more anti-male while hemorrhaging male enrollments year by year. Men now make up only 40% of college enrollments. That's not because of biased admissions, that's because men are not applying for a college, and that's a HUGE problem for colleges. Instead, men are going to work right out of high school. Or they are going to a trade school or seeking an apprenticeship somewhere. If this continues down it's current path, it's going to cause three things to happen in the long run. First, a lot of men are going to see that it is more profitable, both in the short term and long term, to do as their non-college-going counterparts are doing. Firstly because they are making money right out of the gate and secondly because they aren't racking up huge amounts of debt. Second, it's going to cause a real gender-wage-gap to appear. That gender-wage-gap won't just be in the form of income(men not in college making more money than women in college who are working 2 or 3 jobs), it will also be in the form of who has debt, and who doesn't. We are already seeing this and it has been reported on. Third, the colleges will start bleeding male enrollments, and as a result, huge amounts of money. Suddenly, colleges will be having to shut down certain courses and classes, as well as close down dorms. Some will even have to shut down altogether. So, in the end you are left with colleges broken and reeling from the damage all this has caused. You will have doctors and other degree carrying people asking what the hell happened. There will be a HUGE shortage of people with degrees and young people going into fields that require a degree. Finally, you will have women VERY angry at men because men WILL be blamed for this because they are men(I know that's stupid, but that's the world we live in). If this continues it will cause a collapse of our college system, and possibly even an economic collapse. Unfortunately for women, men come out on top in all of this, simply for the fact that men were discriminated against. Funny how that last sentence works, isn't it?

Just remember what they said to us, RGE. "Those with privilege don't know they have it, but will know when it's under threat," or at least something to that effect. You ever noticed the irony of it? It's women having their power undermined and they don't like it. They don't want to lose that privilege they have over the men. Also, lone men are dangerous? Cool, then stay away from me. I'll keep my knife nearby so they get the point. (It's called a pun, for those who don't understand humor. You're not worth threatening.) They can keep vilifying me all they like and I'd tell them to go to Hell, but I don't want them near me. I'll keep doing my own thing. "Broke and alone men" What? A man who is alone, with no women and children around use up part of his income, gets by with little money. Not only will he have to spend less on food (only his own mouth to feed), less rent because he needs less space, he also saves a lot on endless gifts. And not only that, he won't have to buy new drapes and nonsense like that every season (as he doesn't care whether they're out of fashion), no new furniture unless the existing furniture is actually no longer any good (as opposed to "no longer stylish"). He doesn't have to work himself to death climbing the career ladder to avoid being considered a deadbeat and getting divorced by his wife. All that translates into someone who doesn't need too much to live. He can be frugal and not spend too much on hobbies, meaning he doesn't have to earn that much, or he can get a better paying job and use all the money he makes for himself.
@fnors23 жыл бұрын

Guy’s are finally wising up, the main reason men went to college or learned a trade was to prepare for a future, a future with a family to care for. For the longest time we were brought up with the idea, one day you’ll meet someone special get married and have kids and you will be the provider. For decades though it’s been proven over and over again that men get the short end of the stick every time and now it’s more evident than ever staying single is the less stressful and depressing way to go, earn enough to take care of yourself, you wont be leaving anything to anyone when you croak anyways. So guys nowadays are opting out of that trap altogether and other guys are building up their own kingdoms and achieve it by their mid 30’s to 40. Men who do this can afford to go full on caveman (A caveman looks for the youngest healthiest most attractive mate) so all the caREEEEEEEEEer woman wont be a part of that equation.

Quickly found out however the industry wants employees who 'code for the love of coding rather than for a paycheck'. The article isn’t wrong about young men. When young men believe the village isn’t worth investing into, they’ll burn it down. The simple truth is that most young men do not find stoic balance or purpose on their own. Men recognized this problem which is why fathers were held in high regard and institutions geared to male bonding were encouraged. Both have been destroyed by secularism and materialism. Father have been driven from the home. Male spaces have been systematically torn down. Civic and religious organizations have been removed from public life. Just find me a member of the Elks under the age of 50. My church has nearly 3 single women ages 18-30 to every man. @j.p.vanbolhuis86783 жыл бұрын
That depends on the region. In some regions (for ex. India) every daughter has to bring a dowry. In other regions the family of the daughter is paid, because ownership has been transferred (china) In other regions the family of the groom brings a sum of money or a house, while the bride brings equipment for the house (sheets, pots, pans, plates, etc) In other places, the daughter brings in a sum of money, but that remains the property of the daughter, as source of money/income (depending on how rich the family is), in case of divorce. In other places the daughter gets money from the groom(s family) for wich the above applies. So many different methods were used. The more honest ones recognised that a mariage was a risk and an alliance, and partitioned both risk and reward (somewhat, some more than others) evenly between the young pair ('s families)

@@Burn_Angel : "Love? Haha, that was invented...." I do disagree here, but at the same time my vision of love is not the current mainstream. What the current mainstream calls "love" is "in love" a chemical coctail on the brain that influences perceptions and feelings. This chemical cocktail should be seen as the starter engine for your motor. I.e. it is strong, but it will not run continually for it will burn out. "love" is more of a decision where effort is put into a relationship to build trust and interdepency. That one is hard work and requires changing oneself (not the other!). Of course the other has to change [oneself] too. Any marriage that end because "the feelings were not there anymore" is a marriage based on "in love" and such a marriage is guaranteed to fail. By the way even "in love" can be directed. You can feed it by giving in and being infatuated etc.... You can also diminish it by fighting an (admittedly uphill) battle to not go with the flow. A great way is: would you accept certain behaviour from people to whom you are neutral. If not, then you shouldn't do so now either.
