I love your videos, the ones about South Africa and New Zealand too. Just one question about South African terminology-maybe someone here can explain because Google didn't help (or i googled it wrong). The thing you use to make a braai, is it called a barbecue an not "a braai" to? Because then, it would explain the light confusion we had in South Africa when we asked for a 'braai' but actually meant a barbecue grill.

Hi Michael, thank you so much and good question! I know I referred to the braai as a barbecue in this video, but normally us South Africans would call it a braai. So if you asked for one in SA, they should’ve known exactly what you were talking about 🙈
