Youre not finished yet!!! You need to: 1. go back to Sindris House and pick up yggdrasil seeds 2. stand in Atreus room until dialogue starts 3. visit Jotunheim 4. go to Niflheim, explore the prison 5. end with Broks funeral. 6. Start Valhalla DLC!!!

I don't think Kratos actually cares enough to cry over being worshipped. I think he was crying that his path is no longer one of pure destruction and rage and hatred, that he actually made "the cycle end here." He isn't on a path of vengeance he's on a path to rebuild

Oh wow yes!!! That’s so insightful!
@scotch35547 ай бұрын
I disagree. It’s not so much that they do worship him, but that he has never believed he would ever be worthy of worship. Seeing that panel showing people worshipping him, loving him, that’s what moves him to tears
@Zenogrod5 ай бұрын
I think is more than that. I think he cries because he'll be accepted, loved and won't be considered a monster anymore, specially when he always thought (about himself) and was treated like one. That's why I think he saw that path as a way for redemption and self acceptance. Of course, this will be seen in depth in Valhalla DLC, but that painting was the first huge step to "be better". A big hug from Chile, everyone (and sorry my English 😅)

@@Zenogrodstill I wonder if we will get more games or see how Kratos behaves as the god of war and hope of the Norse lands compared to Greece

This father and son journey really hits hard for me. I've never known my father so there is that missing from my life. Not knowing my father kind of left a blank manual for being one to my 3 daughters. I've always hoped I've done them well. I hope that I've given them what they need.

Finally had time to catch up your playthrough. What a ride! A little fun fact now that you've beaten the game! (something i didn't know until after my first playthrough) The subtitles mostly show Týr with the accent over the "ý", but when he talks, it only shows as Tyr. No accent. Another nice little touch from santa monica to show something wasn't right. If you do go back and play the side quests, you should continue to ring the bell for ratatoskr. There's a unique dialogue that happens 😂

If you look back, Sif was always Anti-Odin, but she also had a strong hatred for Kratos and Atreus because they killed her sons. But its not till more towards the end of this game when she realizes Odin is the true cause of their deaths. She tried to get Thor to turn against Odin in Niflheim but Thor went after Atreus first. Also, its amazing the difference between Kratos and Odin, "wars are won by those willing to sacrifice everything"; Odin believes that means "sacrifice EVERYTHING ELSE besides me" Kratos realizes "sacrifice YOURSELF, to save everything else"

Honestly, instant tears when Kratos says "Loki will go, Atreus......Atreus remains" Seeing him get emotional at the idea of being worshipped as a God of Hope is such a perfect ending to the game.

I personally believe the ending is the most disappointing one in years in the video game industry, it was very underwhelming imo and with inconsistent writing (albeit unquestionably touching). Overall, Ragnarok is a good game, but failed on so many aspects to be considered a satisfying closure to the norse saga. It got carried by hype, as a god of war fan it hurt.
@pagan_plays3 күн бұрын
That’s an interesting perspective. I really enjoyed Ragnarok but I did love the first game way more
