Great job as always. The tabletop looks great. Not a fan of the legs, but I guess that was your client's choice! .

+ksp1278 I kinda like the legs. I wish I could do metalwork and make my own though!

great job as always. i guess i would have run a rag across the bottom to stain it real quick, probably no varnish just put some color on the bottom.

great video and project. did you screw the metal legs to the frame once you had the wood holding it in place?

Your table turned out great! How wide is the gap between you plates for the legs (or how wide is the top of the leg)?

Great project, thanks for sharing! Did you consider using a spray gun with your compressor to spray varnish rather than rattle cans? might have been slightly easier and possibly cheaper in the long run? Keep up the great content, your videos are another reason to look forward to Fridays!

+Toby Handley thanks Toby. I've not ventured in to spraying with the air compressor yet but will do some day

nice video thanks for uploading. those legs looked a bit troublesome without a decent fixing plate on them. did they have any movement after you surrounded with wood?
@RagnBoneBrown
@RagnBoneBrown 7 жыл бұрын
+supercheekykiwi no they turned out ok with the top just resting on the legs. Thought best not add screws as they'd eventually tear out with the desk rocking/moving around

Did you wind up running any screws through the Lergebergenninging legs, or are they just held in with friction and good intentions?
@RagnBoneBrown
@RagnBoneBrown 7 жыл бұрын
+Joe Gekko no I figured it would be best just to perch it on top with a friction fit just in case it gets moved around or is on an uneven floor

Nice projekt and video! No hate but is it really necessary to put nails in The trim? I've noticed that you also put them in your dining table and the oak table. My father is a furniture maker and he hates nails as the devil. Can you see Them or do you just don't notice them?

great work! you should add the cost of screws, glue, brad nails and sandpaper. glue and nails are fairly cheap where I live but screws and sandpaper are really expensive for what they are. I really like your channel!

The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is the speaker panels sliding off the desk itself. Were the rubber feet soft and grippy or the more solid, plastic kind? Otherwise, it looks magnificent, especially for the price.
